i am going to stop this thread right now. i see no reason to continue on,,, because many of the baseball teams have completely quit for the season....

however, i am going to start a new thread today.... that will feature pro-sports only.... i will be dropping college football...... i will focus on the NFL and the upcoming NHL season. i will be coming back with baseball for the post season... i will also continue to post the Power Ratings TOP play of the day..

i have learned alot in this thread and i may have just developed a very good system here.... i just have to fine tune my selection process....

just for the record, here were my final numbers for this thread..

Beginning Balance: +$1000 on sept 5

Current Balance: +$1037 on sept 22

so i cleared a profit of (+$37), better than a loss..

Power rating system: 46-54 (+$37)

breakdown:

 

MLB: 39-46 (+$25)..... i really think when the teams finally decided to mail it in, that my system went down hill.. i will be excited to pick right back up in the post-season, as well as next year. i do believe this to be a profitable system.

NFL: 5-4 (+$22).... this will be continued on, in the new thread.

CFB: 2-4 (-$10) this is being dropped altogether.

So all that talk of 150 weeks was just hogwash? I was literally going to watch this thread for three years and see if you could do it... but I guess that won't be happening. 

All I can say is you hit your first goal so fast that you felt you had to keep betting when in reality, you could have stopped at your goal and started it up next month. What's the point of setting a monthly goal if you're just going to go way past it?

in essence i am still running a daily thread...

we are all just here to try and make money... i am merely working toward that goal... at one point (mid day) on a saturday, i was sitting at $1220.... since them ive dropped back down to (+$1037).. now you really want me to keep dropping back...

but you mis-spoke... i didnt reach my 1 month goal, that was going to be determined by where i was on october 1...

there were several factors involved....

1. i didnt want to lose any money.

2. college sports should never have been a part of this.

3. i didnt factor the "quit" factor of some MLB teams into the equation..

 

if you look at the other thread, that i just started.... every NFL, NHL, playoff baseball game and NBA selection will be posted right there... then next MLB season, i think it will be ready from day 1.

ok, these days i am about trying to do the right thing... i just went to betjamaica and turned in the plays for wednesday sept 22..

here is the update... i will do this faithfully until oct 1 and then i will see if i make my goal... i will still be dropping college football... the bets are only $20, so i will not sweat over this, should i lose..

In your first post, you say you never had a goal as it was dependent upon your bankroll on October 1st but then in your second post, you talk about the goal of $1150. This goal of $1150 is what I'm talking about... You hit it, then you kept going. If you would have stopped, you wouldn't have given back your profits. Nonetheless, kudos for jumping back in (I was actually convinced to do the same today with a journal of mine), good luck in reaching the goal, it can be done!

Maybe that CWS come back is what we needed to get this thing rolling again!

ill just keep plugging away... ive stated many times, im certain that im "on to something" with this... i have probably made a couple mistakes along the way...

1. i should have never included college sports in this... period.

2. i probably didnt pick the best part of the mlb season to start this..

but other than that,,,, overall im pretty pleased in what im seeing..

i think this will be a killer for the long haul in the NHL and MLB, i also think the NFL will turn a profit...

i created and developed this system and am now turning it loose. lets continue to see how it goes..

thx man, looks like we butted out the marlins and dodgers on saturday night..

ill do another update monday morning.... looks like MLB is running at (52-55) (49%) with an average payback of (+1.23)... getting real close to what i had projected and what my back numbers have shown..

the upcoming NHL and next MLB season, should be really good.. an Underdog system that generates alot plays, hitting 50% would be priceless...
