just for the heck of it, here is how my Power Rating System ranks the teams this morning, with a couple weeks left in the season. these particular rankings are not how the games are selected but only a part.
AL:
1. Yanks (2.00)
2. Twins (2.50)
3. TB (3.00)
4. Tex (4.50)
NL:
1. Phil (2.50)
2. Reds (4.50)
3. Padres (4.50)
4. Braves (5.00)
that is how my rankings look, as far as who would make the playoffs.. lower score is better. notice yanks still ahead of TB and Philly has now surged to by far the strongest NL team, which probably isnt a surprise... this ranking could change daily, just thought it would be fun to look at..

yes we are, good thing im playing with a very small amount and i am still ahead... there are still 10 betting days left in sept... ill see how we stand then... if we cannot reach our goal of a 15% gain, ill put this on the shelf and start a thread just for the NHL....
