Official (?) RPI 2013 system

Yes, because of the rainout it's only a 2 game series with the B game being the final game Sunday.

Anyone have the final season record for last season?

I was not confident in the Bo's chase from game one. Like I mentioned on Friday the system is all about good teams beating bad teams and this was a case were two good teams were playing each other but it was an official play. If you look back on previous b2w post he explains that he sometimes uses a higher unit value for some series and lower in others an it helps make up the difference. This was a perfect example. Last year was the mets year in the year. What would be surprising is if the braves lose to the mets today (if the line opens) and we lose a two game chase to the mets with the braves that might be the most ridiculous rpi chase loss of the season.

Also 4 win differential filter would have kept us off of the Bo's chase

I personally played this for 1/2 of what I normally would. Not sure if I will even chase it today, I'll just take the small loss and move on.

If last year was a 4 game differencial chase, not sure why Degen has it set at 3. I'll wait for him to chime in.

Darn! I pulled off on the braves since i saw there was not a resked for a c game but it turned out i was wrong. I just hope bosox pulls through or I ALONE have suffered 2 loss this season.

Sunday 5/5 results:

Atlanta wins on the B game and Boston loses on the C game.

If you bet Boston all the way through that would have been a 6 unit loss since they were a dog each game. So with 7 wins at a unit each and the Boston loss, we are still profitable (trying to find a bright side).

A: 4-4

B: 3-1

System is starting out same as last year. I hope it ends with at least the same + unit size.

Yep, you are correct, 7 units. Still a small profit overall. Let's get after it this week. I personally started playing this on 4/29, so I'm doing a little better. Picked up an additional 4 wins.

Monday 5/6:

SF A game

AZ A game - Note only a 3 game win edge for AZ and if it goes to game 3 they face Kershaw.

TB and SD have the RPI edge but both are under .500 so do not qualify.

Long seaon BC. Nothing you can do about past games/series. 4.5 loss on Boston isn't too bad, you should still be in the black which I consider good with a series loss this early in the season.

Maybe we should have gone with that 4 game win difference filter instead of 3. I'm just going by the spreadhseet Degen made.

I'm just going by the rules B2W posted - I will see if i can find them, may have them saved somewhere and built it into the spreadsheet - you can change the filters - just enter a 4 instead of a 3 in the yellow box.

Even though TB is under .500, they're 14-4 V TOR @ home over the last two seasons. They've owned the Jays of late, and are an un-official play for me. Good luck, boys

STL does not qualify because it's only a 2 game series.

Pitt does not qualify as there is only a 2 game win difference, plus a 2 game series.

If so I believe Ari is an A game on there.

Air, are you referring to AZ still having 2 games left with LAD and then they start with Philly and would qualify for the RPI for that series? I don't think this qualifies. I thought it was either if a team wins game 1 of a 4 game series, you start a new series in game 2 OR back to back 2 games series in which both qualify. Since this is a 3 game series I think we just take our money and wait until AZ starts their 4 game series with Philly.

AZ is a dog today and Kershaw goes tomorrow. I think we wait and play it safe. Thoughts?
