Official (?) RPI 2013 system

Since B2W is MIA, I thought it would be good to start a fresh threar listed the plays from the spreadsheet Degen has updated.

Yesterday we won on Det and Balt as the first two official plays of the year.

Record: 2-0

A: 2-0

Friday 5/3 plays -

Det A (4 game series, won first game)

Bal A (4 game series, won first game)

Atl A

Bos A

KC A

The only strange thing I noticed was the RPI difference number for the SF SD game. It shows a negative number. The difference of 28 is correct, but it is the only one showing negative.

 

Correct - found that earlier today - but since I am on vacation I'm not near a computer - basically the formula is wrong - if you copy the formula above and paste special - formula - you should be good - or just wait till next week and update the file

The four game win difference eliminates some plays posted

Degen set up the spreadsheet to filter at a 3 game difference, so that's what I'm going with as an official play(Bos, KC). Some may choose to use a 4 game for their personal plays.

I followed this system closely in 2011 and the beginning last year does any one have the final totals for last year?

I still dont know why the yanks and pirates were not plays. Care to clarify DG?

Yanks and Pirates only had 1 more total win on the year than their opponent. With the filter, it needed to be 3 or more.

Friday we won on Det, KC got rained out and the rest loss and move to a B game Saturday (Bal, Bos, ATL, AZ). KC is a A game Saturday, still a 3 game series.

Hey guys - New to the system, though I've read though last year's thread.  For "dogs" like Baltimore, are you taking them on the RL or ML?  Thanks!

What do we do tomorrow for the Braves rainout?  Play Sunday as a B game or abandon the chase?

I'm playing on the ML. We are betting on the stronger team and getting odds, what's not to like?

Saturday 5/4 results:

KC wins on the A game

Bal and AZ won on the B game

Bos lost and goes to a C game Sunday

Atl was rained out and will play a B game Saturday

Record: 6-0

A: 4-4

B: 2-1 (Atl pending)

C: Bos pending

That is Atl playing a B game Sunday correct?
