NHL Totals system

Wednesday results: 1-1,   -.6 units. To date, +37.93 units.

Thursday results: Went 4-4 with 2 pushes, +.16 units. YTD +38.09 units

I'm putting this on hold while I test out a different totals system.

Man, this system going to bust out at any moment. teams are still working on there systems. Hopefully tonight is the night!

I hope you are right. I'm still betting it, but testing something else as well.

Yes sir. The other system I was checking didn't pan out. I'll just roll with this for a bit.

Not sure if anyone is still following this system, but after Saturdays games I'm at +82.76 units. Due to some travel I've only been able to bet 20 days however. I was at +50.43 units betting Oct 9 - Oct 16. I reset the system with complete labby lines on each team after my travel and have gained 32.33 units from Oct 22 through Nov 2.

While I'm not posting plays everyday, the rules from post 1 are pretty clear I think. Plus Super Dave seems to be posting the plays on his NHL totals thread.

I am still playing this yes. It's doing good, I'm up a little over 90 units. I did some shifting of losses that helped. Calgary has been the hardest team to win on.

I agree that it is holding it's own right now with Cal and NYI having a few numbers needed to clear.  Using a labby and each bet taking up to four numbers(two for each team), they have been clearing but I have kept the unit size very small while trying this new idea.  Thank you Dan, this surprisingly simple system seems to be working thus far.

The daily plays a quite simple.

Yesterday went 3-1. Good day.

So if your unit was 10 dollars you're labby line would be 5555 for each team correct? And youd be up 900 or so if u say you've won 90 units so far? Impressive

That is correct. If a team goes on a losing streak, I've been shifting some of those numbers to other teams to keep having to bet a large amount on any single game.

Gotcha. Do u have a certain strategy as to how much or what teams you like to shift lost money to or is it just random?

Looks good Dan. Wish I would have played, but as it was un-tested, i stayed away. 

I shift to teams that either just cleared or only have 2 numbers left. I also keep track of how many times a team cleared. If they get down to one 1/2 unit number left, I consider that cleared and start fresh. I never bet only a 1/2 unit on a team.

@Bart - I've been trying to find time to backtest but been swamped. My original thought was for each team to clear 3 lines which would be 2 units per line, 6 units per team, 180 units for the year. I think we'd all be happy with a system that nets us 180 units in a year.

This year I might stop on teams after they clear 5 times. Chicago has already cleared 4 times, 3 other teams 3 times each.

So, in order to use $100 units...what size bankroll would I need?

Agreed. I'm not betting anywhere near that. Green Machine, I'd really advise against that for this year.

Point taken, as with most other systems, I will pick my spots and hammer the golden opportunities when I see them.
