Nice work VG

I ran todays NFL games on my end and some figures were slightly different from yours. I would imagine thats because I used statfox and your not crazy about it.

predicted score is 26--9 Philly win, but I think it is going to be more lopsided. Thinking about making a big play on the Eagles. Washington is simply not in sync right now.

Anyone else think that's a good idea?

Also where do you get the majority of the stats? I found SOS at USA today ok but could not find Opp Allowed YPPT>

this is a little off topic, but with the NBA season almost underway, does anyone know a system similar to this one that we can all share and build on?

Anyway,

I have completed college football stats for all teams excluding games played against DIV-AA teams. (It took me about 13-14 hours to complete). To keep track of 120 teams is not an easy thing to do.

I no longer need statfox to produce the predictions, I have store all stats in Excel.

And these predictions will be with accurate stats accumulated.

By the way, why don't the author of this thread create a thread in college football forum for those games.?

If you exclude I-AA teams from stats, wouldn't that mean that SOS change too (should go higher for each team where you have I-AA excluded)? I assume that, and if so, where do you find new SOS (or how you calculate it)?

btw my record for past two weeks (I play 7.5+ point difference):
NCAA (spread 22-15-3, O/U 14-13-1)
NFL (spread 9-3-1, O/U 6-5-1)

I am starting work on this now. I will need 8-10 games of stats before testing begins.
