I have a doubt, Rich Hill (Baltimore Pitcher) has only pitched to 3 toronto players (Barajas, Overbay and Rolen), how can you decide UNDER? just because both pitchers have less than 3

a combination of many concepts fits the Under, one being Halladay, two, Hill is a lefty, three, TOR is ice cold in run production. four, 3 players is enough to get a 33% 'read' BR/RC gives a 8.34 TOTAL .. but as you know, this is baseball, anything can go into regression. If you have 'doubt' I recommend you play the OVER, it's that simple.  best regards SN

My sports book has 9.5 o/u in Bos/Min game and my results are Boston 5.47 and Min 4.67 total 10.13 so I would go over,

Matsuzaka BR= 2.89
Slowey BR= 3.19

So this numbers would tell us to go OVER and Boston Wins, right?

are your results similar to mine?

Wal -  you are correct with your analysis, Hill has no data to make a good play with that game and you were better to layoff. I played it cause of what he has been doing but still not too strong of a play. I took a chance on more than anything. 

Today there are a lot of rookies pitching, so I only analyzed 3 games (I'm late for the early games)

Boston +125
Bos/min Over 9.5 +100
Florida +170
Fla/Phi Under 10  -120
Angels -200
LAA/CHW under 9  -120

Have you guys tried the spreadsheet posted by  uzovka77??

I've been using it but 1 of the formula is missing HR's so it was screwing up my numbers......I like the spreadsheet idea for speed and not to make mistakes when making calculations....hope it gets perfected

just to let you know guys I'm still following your plays and doing my own calculations when I have time...post a few of my numbers next week and see what happens.

I did end up playing the TB game, it was actually rather strong of a play but when I seen the 11 I was a little worried but still a degen at heart..... 

Thursday is a small card and all 3 AL games have pitchers with very little data or none for that matter. If I have a play it is in the ATL/AZ game. Not a strong play or a play at all really but a slight lean. Ill see what others come up with and decide.

 I just want thank you guys for keeping this going. I have incorporated some of your methodology into my capping and I have seen great results. Keep up the good work.
 Vincent I also have AZ/ATL over as my only solid play-but now it is down to 7.5. Even Better.

According to my numbers Atl/Az total will be 8.58 so OVER -120 is a good pick, I'd also pick RL -1.5 +170 in that game
