Juice only really matters when you LOSE a chase. Yes, the juice makes it quite expensive sometimes to complete a chase, but once you win the chase, you get back everything you lost PLUS whatever your betting unit is.
If your betting unit is $100 and the chase record is 54-0 with no pending chases, then your current balance would be whatever your starting bankroll was PLUS $5,400.

FLWAREAGLE answered your question pretty much to a tee, but I will expound a bit more on some options that bettors following this system have at their disposal. For the month of May, we had a ratio of 62 favorites to 43 underdogs for a total of 105 wagers. That's represents an astounding 45 % to wager on the dogs. Now of course, we never know if our dog bet will close out a series, but it affords us an excellent overlay. Each of us have certain comfort zones when it comes to making a wager and within this system you can find your conservative or maximum value edge. We have had underdogs range from + 100 all the way up to + 185. Here's an example that really sheds light on this concept. Yesterday, May 31st the Atlanta Braves were visiting the San Francisco Giants.This was an ( A ) wager for us and the Braves were a + 185 underdog. Now lets assume that you are a $ 100 base unit bettor. Knowing your payoff price you could do one of two things.On the conservative side you could wager much less in order to return your normal base unit. If you wager $ 54.50, you net return would have been 100.83 and at most you would have lost 54.50 which represents 1/2 of your normal betting unit. Now lets push our overlay to a full wager of your normal base unit of $ 100.00. Your net return would have been $ 185.00 which is ~ 1.8 betting units. The conservative bettors using this system were able to acquire + 60 net units while the most aggressive bettors are up much more than that. Once again the beauty of this system is the flexibility it allows followers to pick their level to start with and make wagers according to their own tolerance level.
