    Alright all you mugs. Its that time of year again. I'd like to give a huge shout out to all of the followers of this system from last year and the ones who just got on board. The train will be departing the station this Friday May 1st, so lets see who's boarding the train. I've reserved passage for the following punters :
     APPLEMUNCH25 / AWRIGHT22 / BADBUD3 / BLUECATSFAN / CAPPYT / CG2A / CK650 / COUGARPINES / CP3434 / DANRULES24 / DONFERNANDO / DRAGONBETS / ERBATZ / FESTIVAMAN22 / FOREVERWINNING / FRANKBENDER54 / FTBALLERLB / GHOSTNL / GOODSY / HOOPS1487 / HYVONG / JONNY2K4 / LITERATO / MAX67 / MORTGAGEMAN / NNGOV / OILCOUNTRY99 / ORDINARYDAY6 / PENDO / PUPPETM716 / RIVERMONSTERZ / ROBBYPARK / SFJUSTICE / SMITLER / SPORTS_NETWORK / SUNSHINE11 / SYS-PLAYER-1ST.

    I hope that I didn't forget anyone and if I did, well there's still a few spaces left on the Pacific Surfliner. I'll list the parameters of this system in my next post.

    Here are the parameters of the SHUTOUT SYSTEM.

    This system is a six ( 6 ) game chase and you will need to use one of the progressive betting systems to make this strategy show a profit. I will be using a martingale , but feel free to use a progressive betting sequence that you are most comfortable with. If you are risk adverse to betting ( 1-2-4-8-16-32 ) then as an alternative you might try ( 1-2-4 and repeat 1-2-4 knowing that you have limited your exposure while still having lost some % of units.)

    The system itself is very straightforward and mechanical. Any of the 30 MLB teams can qualify by being shutout in a game. Once they qualify, we start our 6 game series by betting gainst them. It doesn't matter where they play the next six games, it doesn't matter who they are playing. It doesn't matter who's pitching, all the matters is we are betting that they will lose one of their next six games. Once they lose anywhere along the series, we count that as a winning series. Last year, slightly over 95% of the series were completed by the 4th level. The beauty of this system is that a good portion of the time we will be taking the " dog " in the game and our return will be very rewarding.
    Their will be a small percentage of the time where we will be taking both sides of a game simply because we have two separate series going head to head. Don't try to outguess the winner, just get the best price you can on either side. One team will finish their series that day and the other will just move on to the next day.
    I'll do my best to post the qualifying teams each day ; some days there will be no action and others can have multiple bets. If all of this sounds confusing, don't worry. As the season unfolds you'll be able to see the system working very clearly.
    We will start charting this Friday, May 1st. Any team that gets shutout that day will be a team that we will bet against the following day. Good luck to all who follow.

    A.R.

    Do you have a breakdown of how many of the winning wagers were won by 2+ runs?  I'm wondering if there is an advantage to fading the shutout team by betting the opponent on the RL if they are the favourite and on the reverse run line (RRL) if they are the dog.

    Is there a way to use Killer Sports SDQL to find theses results? https://killersports.com/mlb/query  I'd do it but have no idea how this works.

    Basically I'm wondering if there is another way to capitalize on teams who were shutout.

    All the best this season!

    Is there a way to use Killer Sports SDQL to find theses results? https://killersports.com/mlb/query  I'd do it but have no idea how this works.

    Basically I'm wondering if there is another way to capitalize on teams who were shutout.

    All the best this season!

    It takes about an hour each day to research and post qualifying teams and the ensuing results.Then I also a lot time to answer any questions within this strategy post.However, if you like I will add the final scores to my results template. But to answer you question, no I don't have the breakdown handy for any of the teams that won by 2+ runs last season. I'm trying to keep the system simple enough, but feel free to modify it to suit your ideas. We had a great run last season within the specific parameters. You might want to send a PM to SPORTS_NETWORK as that poster was using the alternative betting options last year with this system as far as I can recall. In the meantime, welcome back sir.

    As I recall, one of the posters from last season ran some numbers in regards to previous seasons.You might want to research last seasons thread to find the answers.

    However, I believe that D_OPIE in post # 4 summed up last years results very succinctly.

    I got results for 2008, 09, and 10 from someone a few years back
    2008: TB (1) loss, CHW (2)
    2009: NYY(1), OAK(1)
    2010: DET(1), CHW(1), LAD(1)
    It is great if someone can back tested from 11-14.

    If you don't want to Wager on alot of Plays you could Skip A & B games and play only C-D-E-F making it a (4) game chase based on last years thread you would have HIT at a very high rate less games, but less risk, also much better Odds on C games & Higher.

    Alrighty then. The Pacific Surfliner has left Union Station right on time. Welcome aboard to all those from last year and all newcomers. Its going to be a very exciting season.
    Once again I want to remind everyone who follows along that this is a six game chase system and I will be using letters instead of units to let you know what level to make your wager on. The grouping goes as follows :

    A = 1 unit
    B = 2 units
    C = 4 units
    D = 8 units
    E = 16 units
    F = 32 units

    There will also be two specific time frames where we will have no action. The week before the All Star Break @ July 14th and the end of the regular season @ October 4th. As long as we can finish a series within 6 games we will have action.

    I made an automated spread sheet for this system and forgot to make it a fade. Almost played all these teams instead of fading.

    I have to admit I am curious about this system. It seems so simple.

    Good luck.

    I wouldn't be surprised if the system worked just as well going the opposite way. Either way, I'll post the plays right here on a daily basis.
