Look at the RPI. Mets won today. PHI is winning right now. PHI RPI will jump from beating a good RPI team. Plus, Mets have to be 4 games ahead of the team they are playing. Plus, one of my non filters (but my own filter) is to NOT play the teams that screwed us before. Unless they are good.Like TEX was 2 years ago. Was a fluke BAL beat em 4 straight games.
New official filter!!!!!! Teams that we lost with are NOT plays unless they lost a fluke series to an extremely bad team. NYM doesn't fit this filter! They didn't lose a fluke series, they just suck. We don't play em unless they show real improvement. We didn't play KC last year after our loss.

Im an LAA fan. I found it hard to bet against them. But I did. Only BECAUSE they are supposed to be good. If they were the Mets, BS, they suck. Don't fool yourself. NYM aren't going anywhere in the long run. If they do....Believe me,,,,they will be a play. Until that time. Mets suck. Sorry bro.

LAA IS a good team! They've been my favorites since 1965!!! My 1st glove was signed by Jim Fregosi. They just need to get rid of certain players who are POISON!!! I said b4 that I wrote am email in 2010 to "Fire the GM" (Regans), which they did! Then, trade/waiver Abreu, Wood, Aybar, and NOW the HGH KING!!! VERNON WELLS!!! cause he took it to pump up his numbers to make him more marketable in 2010.
They desperately need a PITCHING COACH!!! Look what happened to Rodney. He's the top closer with TB. As soon as the Angels get rid of ALL of these LOSERS, they will be in the WS!!!

Texas ruined my 3 game parlay
good thing the Phillies and Braves cashed in
If the Phillies weren't playing that bad I may jump on them tomorrow but sad to say they do suck at this moment but after losing a series with the Mets, I'd rather take my chances with Halladay on the mound anytime. Texas may actually be a good play also. Irage posted Washington the other day and after losing 5, they actually won. Somethings gonna give.

Just kidding ya bro...Looks like we have only 2 plays tomorrow. We normally don't start the season with so many plays as we did this weekend. If the plays look good, this is how we HAMMER the system. Let loose your BR and WIN. Only if good plays though. Sketchy RPI plays, go for a UNIT. I hope we get hammer plays. I'm still a lil bit short of regaining my full BR. Let's all cash in.

I have 2011 and macros on. The standings do update but the New York Mets line on the standings page has the W L .PCT etc. column names in it instead of their stats. So every day I have to delete that line, shift all the stats up one line, then copy the Nats stats and paste them in and reformat them...

The FINAL version of the RPI Chase Picks and Tracking Spreadsheet is now available.
Fixes:
- Eliminates cells that show errors due to unavailable data.
New:
- Automatically refreshes the pivot table data after each update
- Contains data from 4/30/2012 through end of games on 5/6/2012 (updated 5/7/2012 AM)
While I do not anticipate any further revisions this season I welcome any feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Yesterday, when Atlanta and Dodgers were being looked at I was thinking I would wait until Tuesday for a B game. Cubs are getting better and they have surpirsed a few teams. Their RPI is increasing and I would not be surprised if they won Game 1 in this series.
I just want to go on record by saying that I like Philly over the Mets today. Here is a classic case of the RPI favoring Mets, but not a good case to take them.
The RPI is just a good baseline for picking games, it still requires good handicapping skills to find those games that will make you money.
Don't force something that isn't there. Nice call B2W.
