I'm not sure that will work, but if you feel it's worth pursuing you should test it out. The dynamics of each team changes from year to year, which makes it extremely hard to predict. I put a lot of effort into my picks and I still get it wrong. I would have never bet that SF would get swept, but they did. You are playing with intangibles which is why most gamblers lose.
