I'm considering running a labby line on this system and possibly filtering out series having high odds for GAME A, not sure what the cut off should be and how this may impact the system.

Looking at the tracker on your sheet I see:

4 - A games with odds of -200 or higher....all of which were Winners!

That small sample doesn't help my cause for a filter

Apologies is this has been asked before but is the RPI system always ML plays or do we play RL as a dog? Also, are there previous years records available?

    Cheers!

No specification IMO besides personal preference and BR management.  2014 was a disappointing year and the system lost steam for 2015 as far as tracking.  During this year, i used it as a pick and choose type system so no accurate record documented.  From B2W and Dr's posting and tracking here is a copy and past of previous years............

    2014 Record: 30-4

    • A: 19-15
    • B: 11-4
    • C: 0-4

    2013 Record 104-7

    • A: 66-45
    • B: 27-18
    • C: 11-7

    2012 Record 106-2

    • A: 60-48
    • B: 37-11
    • C: 9-2

    2011 Record 89-1

    • A: 58-32
    • B: 23-9
    • C: 8-1

Apologies is this has been asked before but is the RPI system always ML plays or do we play RL as a dog? Also, are there previous years records available?Cheers! No specification IMO besides personal preference and BR management.  2014 was a disappointing year and the system lost steam for 2015 as far as tracking.  During this year, i used it as a pick and choose type system so no accurate record documented.  From B2W and Dr's posting and tracking here is a copy and past of previous years............[Quote: Originally Posted by Danrules24] The 91% figure came from B2W's sheet for the start of the 2012 season. A Game Wins: ??

"A" games are first bets won

    B Game Wins: ??

"B" games mean you lost your "A" bet and you need to double up on that team that lost.

    C Game Wins: ??

"C" games mean you have lost both A and B and need to triple up on that team to make money on them.

    Unofficial Plays: 00 - 0

    SYSTEM

The premise here is simple. Good teams Beat bad teams more often than bad teams beat good teams. This a chase system.

Please read first page of this Post to understand the system completely. And read this page too.

    RELATIVE POWER INDEX (RPI)

The RPI tends to tighten as the season progresses, so post all star game I use different numbers.

    1. This is a series chase. I DO NOT chase after a 3rd straight loss in a 4 game series. IDK why, but I don't. You can if you like.

    2. How to pick series. Pre all star game: check the upcoming series. We will use tomorrows games/series as an example. Check the ESPN RPI rankings.

If any team is the visiting team and has an RPI of over 50 points or more over the home team they are playing, take the visiting team for a series chase.

If any team is the home team and they have an RPI of 42 points or more than the visiting team, take the home team for a series chase.

    FILTERS

    1. If the lower RPI has been playing significantly better baseball over the last week or so, do not play the series.

    2. Losing streaks. Big losing streaks by better RPI team, don't play series.

    3. Teams going in obvious opposite directions in the W/L column, I will take the series even if off a Point or max 2 on the RPI.

    4. Injuries. Watch how the teams play for a few days then decide to take a series if a good player has been hurt. The Angels lost Kendry Morales and went on a 10 game winning streak last year. Go figure, so watch.Another note, in a 4 game series, if, and ONLY if the team you bet on for the series wins the FIRST game of a four game series, start the series over the next day as a new series. Basically, we would be banking they will win one of the next 3 as well.

    5. Teams bellow the .500 mark need to be evaluated before a play is created.

    6. Season ends the week of the August 20th.

    JUICE

    1. This system does come with some juice, but remember a WIN is WIN. Use LABBY and MARTINGALE ...depended on the outcome of a four game series. First game. LABBY will make up for losses, so I advise using the LABBY. Also, with the high juice in this system, you can only play one other system.

    2. Pass on games over

    RPI VALUE

VISITOR = 50 RPI (Educated Decision)

    HOME = 40-42 RPI

No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

    hello to all,

while sorting in my old laptop, I found an MLB RPI 2014.

if it can help you, on the other hand it will be necessary to update the file because I think that some websites have changed
