Hey guys I think B2W is right and we should not clutter this thread with out picks.
I've really wanted to post mine a few times and decided not to as they were NOT rpi plays. I'm glad I am 28-1 (only a 2 game chase loss). And I am glad everyone else is making green. Lets keep at it.

That being said - for unofficial plays. I think KC is a good team to look at all season long!! They are 3-12 and 0-9 at home.
Other teams in history that have had similar #'s to begin the season would be the 62 mets (0-9 to start on the road, not at home like KC). They ended up with one of the worst records ever in the MLB. Other teams would be Bal of a couple of yrs ago. They were 30-70 before Buck arrived. I know its hoping for a lot out of KC, but I'm not expecting them to lose 40 out of 41 like another team has

Irage : why do you say Rockies are horrible on the road ? They are 3-3 on the road and just took 2 of 3 on the road from the Brewers .

At .500 win %, we make an executive decision of whether to play fhe series. Under. 500% we dont play.
Yes, we play 4 game series chase BUT only chase up to 3 games. See rules in first page of thread.

I'm taking STL and CHW for a chase. CHW why? Peavy! He made me $$$ last season. Gotta ride with him. BOL to all. I'd like to take TEX as well but I am afraid of CC. He may have pitched horribly in his first outing but he bounced back. Hitters are an issue for me in this match-up so I'm passing up on them.

B2W - so wouldn't MIL fall out of the series play since they are below 500, plus their RPI advantage is only 27 better.  OR are we saying this is just an UNOFFICIAL series not using RPI or WIN% filters?

You know that was an unfair statement. Technically, Rockies have steadily improved over the last 10 years. In the past 4 years they had a win average of .497. Just below .500, but pretty good, but last year they won many of their April road games, but after that they went to shit. They traditionally are not a good raod team and their line up hasn't changed a lot.

Damn it Damn it Damn it, I need to layout all the series games ahead of time and then start elminating them.

Yes, WhiteSox fit the RPI today. I had them on my spreadsheet, but didn't copy them in. With that said, I'm with B2W on this one. They are a little unsettled at the moment and there RPI is inflated. I would wait another series before betting them.
