K let me see if a different explanation might help you out.

There are two different ways this system works:
1. For home teams to be good
2. For road teams to be bad

The system doesnt start until a certain pattern is recognized, and it takes minimum of four games for the pattern, once the pattern of four games is reached the NEXT 5 games is a chase for ONE win.

For a good home team your looking for three consecutive HOME wins then a LOSS, so....   W-W-W-L-X   <--the X is Game 1 of a system play and it continues until you win 1 game.

So every possible combination of a Home System Play is:

W-W-W-L-W: GAME 1 SERIES WIN
W-W-W-L-L-W: GAME 2 SERIES WIN
W-W-W-L-L-L-W: GAMES 3 SERIES WIN
W-W-W-L-L-L-L-W: GAME 4 SERIES WIN
W-W-W-L-L-L-L-L-W: GAME 5 SERIES WIN
W-W-W-L-L-L-L-L-L: GAME 5 SERIES LOST

What gets tricky is when teams go on the road in the middle of series, you disreguard Away games when your on a home game chase. Ill give an example with the road games (represented by a @ symbol)

W-W-W-L-L@-@-@-W: This would be a game 2 series Win, the first game of the system was a lost, followed by three road games, then a series W back at home.

YOU DISREGARD ALL AWAY GAMES WHETHER WIN OR LOSS.

The logic behind the system is simple, If your a hot home team on a winning streak (3+ games), its very difficult to turn around and Lose 6 consecutive home games. Teams don't go from winning streaks to losing streaks. Your most likely going to trade a few wins and losses here and there before you start slacking at home.

So they same team applies with the road teams, except for winning you want them to be losing:

The pattern here is: L-L-L-W-X     X being the first system game, and your betting for them to lose 

AND YOU DISREGARD ALL HOME GAMES IN BETWEEN.

*your always betting a home team in this system, either for a good team to win, or betting against a bad road team thus betting their opposing team (thats why it says HOU (STL 2 Lose))

Hopefully that clears it up.

Gameboy is a beast and I hopped on this system last year when the post author disappeared on us halfway through the season, and Gameboy continued the picks just like he is now. Everyone looks at this thread Gameboy! They might not say stuff but lots are people are checking the picks daily!

What I Love about this system is while yes its not perfect, there are a few losses during the season, BUT its pretty easy to avoid the losses.

While Hou surprised me with that game 5 win. I predicted Sea could be the first system loss after the 2nd game, they got swept by Tex and then had one of the best teams in baseball in a series TB. And they were heavy underdogs in every game in that series. I got out after 2 games and played my money elsewhere. And sure enough they got swept. Saving myself a potential disastrous run.

Best advice is to Look ahead at the games coming up, possible 4th or 5th games in the series. If they are playing strong teams be careful with your money. Maybe get out and take a 3 game loss, or play the start very slow. (example: I didnt like Wash today against Atl (betting ATl 2 lose) as they were +120 dogs, but looking ahead Phi was coming in town so I was very comfortable if that series went 4 or 5 games, So i played G1 and Wash game me a present with that win. But i was prepared for the 4 or 5th game where you start biting nails 

I think the system had about 8 Series Lost last year? I avoided 4 of those ( and didnt start midway through when it already had 4 losses) So last year Paid the Kid!!! But using that strategy is very helpful.

Just ran some numbers on that Sea 5 game chase loss and if you played conservatively and tried to win only your initial investment (1 unit) from game 1 on games 2 thru 5 you would have lost 23.3 units total.

If you would have played to win your initial investment (1 unit) from game 1 plus 1 unit profit each time on game 2 thru 5 you would have lost 41.7 units total.

I'm pretty sure this is correct.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Using straight Martingale, I think you would be correct.  I personally play these as a 3 game Series, take the loss and spread it across 3 aggressive labby lines.  So now I'm effectively looking for 6 system victories, to shrink the lines and recoup my loss.

I'm not a large bettor, I have a modest bankroll and I'm very conservative with it.  I only play system bets, and using this conservative style I was able to increase my bankroll about 50% in April.  The ROI would be much greater if Baseball juice wasn't so high.

To prevent large losses, On the Front end I use TO RISK : figures: (with Baseball Moneylines, your return will only be about 50%
Game 1 = 20
Game 2 = 60
Game 3 = 140
if all lose = -220

But I DO intend to collect my entire loss.  I move the loss over to the labby lines, which I consider to be my collection department.  With Baseball Juice a little high, In order to keep this profitable, I need to win back 100% of the loss with this method.

Using Labby lines for the first A game,  I bet the two outside numbers, To WIN = 40. With High Juice (-200), I may risk 80 to win 40

If I win the lines will look like this.

Second game is (-200), So I need to bet 80 to win 40.   Now if this wager is a loss, I add half of the loss to the first line and half of the loss to the second line.

Next game jusice -185, so now if I choose to chip away at line 3, I will add add the outside numbers 20+60=80 to get my next To win: figure.  So now I wager 148 to win 80 and I get the win.

From here You are looking for 4 wins to clear all 3 lines.  Just chip away with the collection department, while you continue 20, 60, 140 on the front end.   When you consider the number of A and B series wins, that we have been collecting, you can see how quickly you will clear these lines.  Using this method I can tell you that you won't lose sleep, or your guts, and You will be profitable.

I'm definitely intrigued by your bank roll method, Ive been trying to figure out a way to use the Labby in this situation. Ive sruggled with  creating an effective method since Im not sure how to play it when there are 5 or 6 games in one day. Can you explain how you do it is this situation. And what happens when 4 or 5 games all start at the same time and you can't wait to see the outcome in order to determine your starting bets. Thanks

This is what I do also.  My opening game favorite chase would be up only 14U using martingale and is up 48.6 using this aggressive style of labby. If I have multiple games starting on a given day I play them all on the outside numbers.

Let's take the last set of lines from post #119

Let's say I have six games to wager on.  I do things a little different, I still place 6 bets on the Martingale side, Risk:  20, 60, 140, according to game A,B,or C

I rank the 6 qualifying plays according to their RPI.  You can google MLB, RPI rankings.

Now I still need to use the Labby line Collection Department, because I still need 4 wins to clear these 3 lines.  Using the qualifying system plays, I take the 4 teams with the highest RPI rating and use them to clear my labby lines.  So in this example I will be wagering 20+60 = TO WIN: 80 on the highest ranked RPI team (within the system plays),  the other 3 bets will be 20+20 = TO WIN: 40.

I am still developing some expertise at money management, still work 7am to 6pm, and I need a way out of the rat race.  I'm just sharing my ideas and positive experience with others who are learning to be successful sports investors.  I've learned that one size doesn't fit all, but I do know that as long as you are clearing lines, you are making profit.   Best of all, we get to share our crazy ideas in our "War Room", so we can work together to find the best way to venture forward.

K I believe I got it... Lets Run through this once...
I play a lil different as I play to WIN $20 instead of Risk $20 So it will be a lil different, and Ill set it up as if I started today.

So Yesterday's Plays Were:

NYM  g1 -160 Risk: $32 To Win $20 L
Col (Phi2L) g1 -110 $22/20   L
Day's Total: -$54

Collection Account for end of yesterday would look like:
10-10-10-37
10-10-10-37
10-10-10-10

Today's Plays:
5/11 BAL (SEA to Lose) Game 2
5/11 NYM Game 2
5/11 CHC Game 1
5/11 COL (PHI to Lose) Game 2
5/11 ARI (LAD to Lose) Game 1

So Today's Plays To WIN in order of RPI would be...
NYM to win 60 + 47 from collection = 107 ?
Col to win 60 + 47 from collection= 107 ?
Bal to win 60
chc to win 20
ari to win 20

Is that correct?

Since there are multiple games today, would I just add up the total of today's loses and split them between the top two labby lines (once i crossed out the wins)?

I am used to playing to win $20 per initial A game.
Then playing to win My Game 1 loss + $20 for B game...etc..

Is there a particular rationale for choosing only to risk $20, 60 140?
Im up for adjusting my betting strategy if there is a reason for choosing these specific numbers... please explain..
