Looks like a great night taking 3 of 4 RL wagers.. but the damn Red Sox lost again, meaning that is going to a Game 4 chase Friday night. At least they are returning home against Baltimore.

Haha yeah I've been tracking the game, too. Was about to feel bad that I perhaps talked you into that LAD pick...haha...yeah, my Blitz has been hot lately, too (knock on wood). I'm 8/9 without counting LAD...hope they hold it.

Nice day on the RunLine Blitz yesterday going 3-1. Was a great day other than the Red Sox losing once again. This team is cold now but when they get going again no one will touch them. I'm confident they will pick up a win this weekend at home to Baltimore.

I am posting now cuz I will not be around again until after the 1st group of games have started.
Going with 2 RL plays today, the 1st is purely a value play, explanation on spreadsheet.

The juice is heavy today on the other games, hopefully they will clear in Game 1 tonight.

Should have been 2-0 on the Spot Plays yesterday, nailing the SF/ATL Under right on the head, and was on the right side of Chris Carpenter vs. Roy Oswalt.. unfortunately someone forgot to tell Ryan Franklin (who has been money) this was one of the biggest saves of the year so far. I am tempted to pull the trigger on the CFL game tonight.. Montreal really should walk all over Hamilton. Line is currently -14, if it drops to -13.5 it will be a play.

Wow, what a performance by Mark Buehrle!! What an amazing catch by DeWayne Wise, going over the wall to save the home run from Kapler!! I'm happy for him, he is one helluva pitcher.
Locking in the next game for tonight, the line isn't quite as good as early this morning, but it's ok. Adding the CFL game tonight as a Spot Play, even tho the line hasn't moved.

Very happy with tonight's games.

6-0 on the System Plays, clearing everything on the go. The Spot Plays should have been 2-0 as well, once again. I have been having some unbelievably bad luck in the last second of games the last 2 nights.

The CFL is really messed up, they have some really stupid rules. Missed the Montreal cover by 1 point due to a 2 point "Free Safety Rule" with just a couple minutes left. Why I continue to wager on these silly games beats me, lol. I have a strong opinion on the other 3 CFL games this weekend tho, so I expect I will give it one more try and see how it goes.

And when everyone was on the Angels tonight, I was on the right side with the Twins.. Until the ugly 9th. Could not believe the unbelievably lucky play which tied the game (if you saw the play, you'll know what I mean). It's tied in the 10th now, we'll see how it ends.

Looking forward to the weekend, there are a few new plays.

A solid week continued last night in a big way collecting a 6-0 record on the System plays, including 2 more RL winners and another spot play winner on the Fading Washington Nationals page, keeping that page perfect on the season.

Some new plays for the weekend as I try to finish the week strong. The Boston series is the key focus for me this weekend. 2 CFL games on the schedule tonight so I am sure I will be suckered in to playing them as Spot Plays later tonight, LoL.

Good capping. Very tough break on Philly. I think Holliday's addition really boosted the mental morale of this team. They got in VERY late last night on the bus (~2 hours or so from DC to Philly) after the game was called around midnight.

Add in the fact that STL sucks at hitting lefties...well, I think that's about to change with Holliday's addition. Especially with Duncan gone now too, who couldn't hit lefties either (.64 difference between the two over his career...wow).

But the rest looked great. Nice unders. Gutsy call with Texas/KC...but that didn't even get close to the line.

And what is this football in the summertime?

Thanks, if I hadn't locked in Philly early this morning they certainly would not have been my pick tonight. But oh well, get it back tomorrow on Game2 or 3!

I'm happy with 2 out of 3 with the Unders, but very disappointed in Santana. Gives up a home run to Mike Hampton ?? Come on.. LoL

Big win by Brad Penny and the Red Sox last night!! That finished all Chases for the week on the Take From Poor, Give To Rich page. A very successful 1st week there finishing +12 Units!
The Dodgers are the only revolving System Play today, so focus was given to the RunLine Blitz page once again. Feeling very confident in the 3-pack for today, let's hope for a big day!

Spot Plays were an average 4-3 yesterday for a mere +0.45 Units. Still, a plus is better than a minus! And I have to be happy with a 2-1 CFL record. The one thing I have been hitting with CFL tho is the Totals. I am now 6-1 on those! The Spreads have been the downfall.
Saskatchewan and the Under are going to be the plays for this afternoon, just waiting to try and get a better line than current.

wondering if you sort home team records by percentages or by wins like they do on covers. I thought maybe detroit was a play in game one yesterday in top 5 home teams. I'm sure the juice was high in that game too thou.

The answer to this can simply be found by referring to the spreadsheet for Top 5 Home Team and looking under the Database tab.

I sort home records by winning percentage, the way they should be. Going into yesterday's game, Detroit neither qualified for Top 5 Wins nor Top 5 Win %.
They were 6th in Win % and tied for 7th in Wins.

It's too bad, cuz they played very well yesterday.

UGH.. what a miserable start to the day! I can't believe David Price got absolutely pummeled this afternoon.
Oh well, move on to Seattle.
