Kreatture, hang in there man. we all feel the same pain.
I lost the Boston and LAA game as well. I even had Milw. as another game 1 for runblitz and lost that too.
Small units, but still in hurt none the less.
My decision now lies with Wash/milw too.
As far as $ mgmnt, I'm thinking about cutting my losses here and starting fresh with a game 1 today, or tomorrow so I cn preserve my bankroll. I too got too far ahead of myself, and should have started smaller. I was on a roll and upped my wager too high too fast. Still up overall, but I don't like the idea of laying 200 tonight on Milw to win back my losses plus a profit.
I started the WNBA a few weeks ago with $170, and got it up to around 425. I hit 3 WNBA A wins and 2 MLB runblitz A wins, and then last night dropped me in half.
Again, still up, but if I chase tonight and lose, I'm back at 0.

I started your poor/rich system today. It's related to another system I am tinkering with: "playoff" teams against the four worst records in the league.
 
I've decided not to overlap in the case of an Oakland/Boston.
 
Like others, I got burned by Boston and Anaheim. It really sucked getting up this morning to see the Angels scoring four and then giving MY money away.

Unlike the first 2 games of this series.. I expected them to win tonight.. Phase 1 of Recovery has taken place, and been successful. Phase 2 will continue tomorrow.

Great job by Baltimore and New York tonight to clear Chases.. better luck tomorrow on Boston, Cincinnati, and the "just broke my heart" Dodgers..

I had just got done saying if the Dodgers would win tonight I would be very happy with tonight's results.. then they go AND PITCH to the greatest hitter in the Majors with a goddamn base open.. They deserve to lose, and rightly should have.. Game 4 with the Dodgers will continue tommorow in St. Louis then this weekend in Atlanta. A place where they WILL win at least 1 game.

I'm down about $11 for the night.. NOT happy.. another stressful day is on the horizon..

On a side note.. after last weekend's developments.. I am not sure how my "then" future wife, will feel about tonight's encounter with a "competitor".. LoL .. I must confess tho, it was not my fault.. the one tonight had a boyfriend there and I tried my best to be nonchalant.. it is NOT my fault that he was a douche and put his own foot in said mouth.. not my fault at all....

I ran into a problem with my rich/poor RL system I started yesterday. Pittsburgh lost to SF by one. So, that chase continues. Pittsburgh, however, has the day off before hosting another member of the club: Washington. Do I take it the Nationals are to be played against because they are "poorer?" Does that mean the game against SF is a one-chase event?

Pittsburgh does not qualify for me, so I am not sure how you are doing yours. My System runs from Monday to Sunday, and then resets. It depends on how you have yours set up and how many games you are willing to chase.

I'm in a huge pickle today with the Red Sox and Brewers. There is no way I'm laying over $1000 on the insanely absurd line of -405 for Boston.. so not sure how I am going to play this.. I have 10 minutes left to decide tho..  BAH

Went with Bos RL on the blitz too. Still goin' small @ betting to win $20. Just want to track the runline blitz for the rest of the year and learn to strategize and manage $, but also want to have some skin in the game to make it fun.
Interesting idea on splitting into 4 lines. Hope they close out quick for you. Good luck casanova...

glad to see you were able to stick to the system as I didn't. It was hard to lay -200 with parra pitching for the brewers but they did get it done. Now i have to figure out what to do since i didn't chase them. Would you just let it go and start back with a game one or do you bet on a different game the amount you would have chased with?

I am afraid I have no advice to offer at the present time as I am trying to recover from the shock my body is in after Lester just gave up 4 runs cuz he was pissed he didn't get a 3rd out, 3rd strike call..

As the saying goes.. I am up shit creek and have lost my paddle.

Actually, it's been shattered into millions of tiny little splinters.

Cincy got crushed all ready, Red Sox being crushed, Brewers tied.

If Dodgers lose tonight I may have to call it quits.. account now down to $1100

Never imagined in a million years that a week like this would happen.. and it's not my money management which has me in trouble for once, it's just the fact that the teams are not winning.

It certainly has been an emotional week.. It's been hectic enough with one roommate moving out and a new one moving in. Woulda been a nice week to clear things early.

I do get frustrated.. it's my style. You'll always know how I'm feelin, cuz I put it out there!! LoL

I'm NOT giving up tho.. I am fighting as hard as I can and will fight all damn weekend!!

Was unable to post the Playbook for today, but the spreadsheets have been all updated. Boston and Milwaukee RunLine victories this afternoon helped cushion this bomb of a week so far. Only new play for tonight is the Texas series. Also have a big Game4 with the Dodgers tonight.

Right on andy! Big wins for you today, happy to see it!!

From sources right at Commonwealth Stadium, it is an absolute downpour right now in Edmonton. This field does not drain very well and should make for a slippery night.

Kreatture good job with staying with your system!! Looks like all the stress paid off in the end at least most of it. Since I didn't I am going to try and ride texas on the run line I hope I can get as lucky as you did today

I learned another valuable wagering lesson tonight.
There is not a large enough difference between rich and poor when it involves the SLC.

Hope the LA victory was as good for you as it was myself!

Very happy with today's results overall. Far from out of the woods yet tho.. back to work tomorrow as the Recovery Process continues with Day 3.  Will post Playbook with new plays as well for weekend.

And I actually got the huge CFL upset call correct, nailing the Side and the Under. The bonus units certainly come in handy.

Been a very busy day for me, continuing with the moving of roommates out/in, and also took some time to sort out how I was going to proceed with tonight's action. I am confident with how yesterday went and going forward from here. Recovery is still in the process, with more positive gains expected this weekend.

Recovery Process has now been completed for the RunLine Blitz System.

All Spreadsheets have been updated and completed to the completion of July.

I have to be happy with the results of the past 3 nights, considering the disastrous start on Monday and Tuesday. Still down for the week, but way up from 3 nights ago.

Was hoping for a great final week of July to end up in the vicinity of +40 Units. It didn't happen, but I have finished the month up +9.62 Units. After 3 months of doing this, this is my worst month yet. If you are a heavy unit bettor ($100+), then you would have still had a solid month. I am not, so it was only a small few hundred dollar profit.

Overall tho, the up-to-date total now is +90.05 Units for the 3 month period. This should be a very satisfactory number for me, yet I fail to see the bigger picture at times. Since my Units are small, it is only a couple thousand dollar profit, by far not enough to make a living on yet. However, I must keep in mind that this is a 12-month Project, and as my bankroll grows, so will my Unit size. It is quite possible, I believe, based on current results that by the end of this 12-month Project my Unit size could very well be up to $100. If this is possible, and in fact turns out to be the case, then 90 Units over a 3 month period would be a fantastic result of $9000 ($3000/month).

These numbers are also after just 3 months of "entry-level" cappin'. I suspect it would be reasonable to conclude as well, that after many more months of continual learning and understanding - into not only matters of Bankroll and Unit Management, but also a general knowledge of "the biz" and such - that a higher per month ratio of Units earned could be expected.


Individual System Monthly Reports will be available by Sunday. I am taking Saturday off from all Systems except the RunLine Blitz.

Going to enjoy a matinee movie (Funny People) with friends, followed by dinner and drinks, and then some Saturday night entertainment.

Great results last night. I have suspended the Take From Poor, Give To Rich System for the remainder of the weekend. Match-ups are not favorable in any of the 3 series I am still in Recovery with.
All other Systems are cleared for the weekend. Was going to roll with 3 RunLine plays today, but I am backing off the Seattle play, and for some reason Detroit is a small dog??? Going with just Colorado today.
Time for a few hours sleep, then I am out of here for the entire day/night.
