kratture - You are absolutely right about the NHL game yesterday night. After all the fuck ups during the game, it was no surprise that they blew another call late as the 3rd period ended.

With about 20 seconds to go and Price on the bench for the extra skater, the Habs had 7 guys on the ice all across the Colorado blue line. WTF. How does the other ref at the other side of the ice not see that. Can he count?

And talk about shitty hockey teams, how do the Habs not score with 7 guys working the puck. And if they did, the goal would have been overturned because the refs missed 7 red jerseys on the ice. Embarassing to say the least.

Not a chance.. I let everyone else opinions, so called "experts", sway me into thinking the Angels had a chance in this series.. The Yankees were my All-Star Break World Series pick and it remains so.

This Yankee team is the loosest team I have ever seen, they seem like a bunch of kids having a blast out there. Been looking like that for months now. No one can stop this team. The plan was originally to take the Yankees ML every game, but I messed it up with the Game1 play. I'm sure the Angels will win a game, or maybe 2, but the play from here on out will be Yankees ML.

6 - 3  ; do you go straight ML or cut down the juice ( which could have proven costly this Saturday night )  ?

I Parley the Gold, Silver, & Bronze pick. Tonight I wagered 1 Unit on it. The top plays went 3-0 tonight and paid 3.45 Units (+2.45).

This was the 1st Week of the season for my NHL Saturday Night Fight Night Strategy. Altercations will be made week-to-week and additional plays selected as a stronger "read" becomes available on teams.

Play Selections are based purely on Situational Analysis which include Goaltender Match-up, Travel Schedule, Strength of Home/Road splits, Recent History, etc.
Basically just good 'ol fashioned pen & paper handicapping.

The Round Robin I had selected tonight for 7 teams went 6-1. I decided not to play it tho.. in hindsight, I should have!


The NHL season is still very young.. a lot left to analysis before setting up camp in front of the net. For now, it is best to shoot from the blueline.

No, haven't looked for it.

8-3 on the NFL so far today, ML & ATS, with 1 game to go.. yet it is a hugely disappointing day..

Early games would have been considered a success if Baltimore had made that game-winning kick..

Late games would have been considered a success with simply an Eagles win, which they couldn't even do.

Week 6 is usually a correction week.. but absolutely no one saw the Eagles losing outright. Seems like something fishy went on there, 11 carries and 46 passes??!? Double-digit favs were perfect on the season up to this point, I guess something had to give.. but it shouldn't have been this game.

Disheartened by today's action, even tho I'm only down about $50.

Hopefully my Dodgers can make me smile tonight.

9-4 straight up .. 9-4 against the spread.

Very good day considering all the surprises.

Highlights were the Houston and Kansas City upsets, fairly easy calls I thought. Lowlights were Baltimore's last second missed field goal and the Oakland outright major upset.

San Diego is the lone play remaining for Monday Night. It's time Denver is brought back into reality. They are not that good..

They have been winning of late by smoke and mirrors
Penalties, no run game, blitzing too much, playing crappy teams soft, you name it
