im confusing people lol???  how many people people do u think are still riding this system?..you are now rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. not many people have the necessary 10,000 units in their bankroll to keep chasing. if anything instead of getting on my case you should be apologizing to anyone who was misled into thinking this could possibly win.

and the only reason your only down 7 units is because even you the creator of this mess have not been betting the correct amount of units on these washington games, as was specified in the plan u set out in the initial post.

Cappinstrong, do you come to this thread just to be negative? You made your point now move on, and start your ow thread. Threads are like TV, if you don't like the channel go to another or turn your set off.

I don't believe anyone is following this.. I don't ever expect anyone to follow, I post here to hold myself accountable for what I am doing. If you just write it down on paper to yourself it is easy to change numbers and convince yourself to do something different..

There you go throwing random numbers out there once again of 10,000Units.. seriously??? I have been playing this exactly the way I outlined it.. then Jersey lost. When you lose a series you play the next series with an increased wager for your Recovery Process..
That is why there was an increased wager on the Caps. Obviously you don't read every post or else you would know this all ready..

I also stated that the Series where I was trying to win 2 games, would be reviewed and possibly played further.. hence the play on Chicago and San Jose for 5 Units each, which both won. That recovered the lost Units from the Jersey Series.

The Washington Series was getting out of hand with the last 2 losses. I would never wager, or expect anyone else to wager, that many Units on a Game 7. Sometimes you have to change your plans, that is why I changed the wager on Washington to a lower number, because you don't always have to place all your eggs in one basket, on one game. That would just be foolish.

Currently sitting at -5.2Units after the Detroit victory last night.. altho that certainly doesn't meet the 1st Round Goal, I am pretty happy with that, considering Jersey was outright pummeled and Washington's high juice games have gone to the limit with a Game 7.

I have continued to post my plays because unlike some people on here, I don't bail on something halfway through. I'll see it through to the end of the 1st Round, and move on.

Whatever happens tonight, so be it. If Washington wins, you have to think it won't be close. Montreal may very well win another tight game. So playing a -300 MoneyLine is absolutely crazy for tonight. The only wager is either Montreal ML or Washington PL.

If I didn't honestly believe Washington was going to roll them tonight, then no wager would be made. This is not a typical Game 7 where the underdog has rallied back with great play and really taken the play away from the better team. If you go back and watch every game in this Series again, you will see one dominating performance after another by Washington. Montreal has looked absolutely horrible every game. They have scored a few horribly soft goals, while the Caps have missed the net as many times as Halak has stone-walled them. Those pucks will eventually find the back of the net, they always do. The Caps are too talented. I expect Semin to get a big goal tonight. The power-play to get one early, and Washington's goaltending to be a lot better.
If Montreal has a penalty-free game, and Halak stands on his head even more than what he has all ready, then they can win.

Montreal's players are relying too heavily on Halak now, and their play has become sloppy. That, coupled with the fact that the public is all over the Montreal ML tonight, anywhere from +250 - +320, bodes well for the Caps.

I'm rolling with the Caps PL at even money, because I believe it will win.. not because I am forcing a play. Good Luck to whatever anyone else chooses to play.

Yep.. quite the game.. can you believe the stats?!?! 41 BLOCKED shots, plus another 41 saves.. pretty sick. It didn't help that when the Caps finally did score, a horrible call by the referee saved Halak's ass..

Washington fired over 170 shots on goal the last 2 games.. and Halak had a shutout into the final 4 minutes in both. The city of Montreal should build a statue for this guy.. was this the single greatest goaltending effort we have ever witnessed?? Quite possibly, yes!

Congrats to Montreal, they pulled off the upset of upsets! Unfortunately, they now get to be swept by the eventual 2010 Stanley Cup Champs.. Sidney and crew must be lickin their lips with this match-up.. 5 games max.

Altho some people like to see the underdog prevail.. you can't honestly think that this is good for the NHL..?? I think the League, as a whole, just lost a lot of cred tonight..

How boring did the East just become.. will anyone outside of Boston and Philly actually watch a single second of their Series??

Has a defending Stanley Cup Champion EVER had an easier path to repeat????

The thing I am most looking forward to in the 2nd Round, is an incredible Series between Chicago and Vancouver. This could be the most entertaining hockey we've seen in a decade! Partly because of the back story, leading into this.. can't wait!!

OK  time to get up, dust ourselves off and look to cash on the second round.  Kreature, what do have? 

I don't usually play past the 1st Round.. altho this is the 1st time I have ever lost Units in Round 1.

I like Detroit, Vancouver, and a Pittsburgh sweep. Couldn't really care less about Boston/Philly.. gimme Boston I guess.

Could do a chase on Detroit and Vancouver +1.5 the 1st 2 games.. or chase the ML for both. Should be some tight games with Overtime a huge possibility. I will take Pittsburgh -1.5 every game.

You could also just chase the home team in every game (except Montreal) and probably do very well.

I do like Detroit tonight in Game 1, and San Jose in Game 2.

I'm just going to enjoy the games and continue to focus on MLB.

That was one helluva Game 1!! Very exciting! This is gonna be a great Series. Huge confidence boost for Nabokov and the Sharks.. maybe this will finally be their year??

Well, hope everyone who wagered tonight made some money. Would have won 2 of the 3 options I suggested. I played Detroit +1.5, thankfully they blocked that empty net shot from center ice!

I'll be playing Vancouver +1.5, as well. And of course, Penguins PL tomorrow night.

Honestly tho, don't know if they're playing good, or the Sharks have just choked once again.. haven't watched a game of hockey since Pittsburgh went up 3 games to 2.

I hear Montreal's not doing so well now.. figured they should beat Philly since they controlled the 2 best teams in the NHL all ready.

Very disappointing.. the NHL continues to be a joke. I followed my last hockey game, ever, a few weeks ago..

Why is the NHL a joke?  Because the games you picked didn't go your way?  Yeah blind squirrel, how much did you lose again??? Of course Montreal is doing poorly, going two 7 game series blocking hundreds of shots, the player are black and blue and tired!!!!

I suppose the MLB is a joke as well if you lose a game.  You've got a poor outlook and should stop gambling immediatley!!
