Thanks pdg...ON3...Not trying to stir things up. I want to make the right plays as well. Here is how the e-mail reads that I got from a friend. We are both trying to figure this out...I was all ready to play NYG (b) ML -330, DEN (a) +4, CLE (a) +3.5, and mod PHI (a) ml -160...Now I am only on NYG and PHI...

Got a mail from JM a moment ago:

xxxxxxx
A few days ago I said that I was hard at work on a gift for you....

...I lied! I don't just have a gift for you. I have 3 (!!) of them!

I've updated ALL of my systems, including NBA, MLB, as well as the
free bonus NFL system, and I'm handing them over to you on a silver
platter as my early Christmas presents!

Here is the updated NBA betting system:
https://******************.com/images/_notes/nbas.pdf

Here is the updated MLB betting system:
https://******************.com/images/_notes/mlbmlb.pdf

Here is the free bonus NFL betting system:
https://******************.com/images/_notes/nflsys.pdf

Here's what you can find in the updates:

======================================== ==============
NBA - Updates can be found on pages 7-8:

- Handling road trips that begin with games within a team's own conference

- Note on consecutive 6-game road trip vs. the opposing conference

Basically, if a team has been playing road game(s) within their own
conference before they start 3 consecutive games vs. 3 opponents
from the opposing conference, then you should only treat the 3-game
series vs. the opposing conference as eligible for play ONLY if
that team has lost ALL of its road games from the beginning of the
road trip by more than 3 points against the spread.
======================================== ==============

======================================== ==============
MLB - Update can be found on page 9 and 11:

-Handling a 4-game series rematch (A VERY rare [D] bet is possible)

-Update on the RPI (the team that was swept previously must have an
RPI value of no less than .015 than their opponent. Change from the
previous .01 requirement)

Basically, there's a rare exception where it is okay to bet beyond
C level in the MLB when your team is playing a 4-game series in
their rematch, and ends up losing the C bet. In this case, you can
make the extremely rare "D" bet on the final game. Such a situation
is quite extraordinary because losing a C bet is awfully rare as it
already is, and for it to fall on series that spans 4 games instead of
3 games is something that almost never happens! But if it does,you
can make a D bet on the final game to complete the win in the series.
======================================== ==============

======================================== ==============
NFL - New filter: Only wager on double-digit underdogs
======================================== ==============

All the best,
John Morrison, PhD

Hey guys....the double digit dog rule ONLY applies to JM's playing surface system...NOT THE SYSTEM POSTED HERE.  Quit panicking and play as you already know:  i.e NYG ML; DET ML; CLEVE + points; DENV +points

on the nfl system where the bet is on the underdog team does anyone know if this is good for all season or if there's like only a part of the season where it's played?  is there a certain time to start and stop.

solid wins with Cleveland and NY Giants today. i didnt have detroit as a play, i guess i missed it.

also, picked up a win with the modified system with Philly and NY Giants as the C bet.

JM System so far: 16-0 (17-0 if you played Detroit)

Week 12 plays:
Denver (B bet, C bet)
NY Jets
Chicago Bears

Modified Week 12 plays:
Pittsburgh Steelers

We only have a few more weeks left using the NFL system, let's keep it rolling

JV you cut all teams that are not playoff contentions along the way, I personally have already started doing this.

OK...I just want to make sure of something here and set the record straight before I look at all the opinions you are going to post here and that is that you agree with "on3" the person who has obviously been keeping this thread going from post #1...

according to post # 136 the following indicated...(which I have also concluded)

Week 12 plays:
Denver (B bet, C bet)
NY Jets
Chicago Bears

Modified Week 12 plays:
Pittsburgh Steelers

...you agree with that before you start posting and passing pointers to others about this, that, and the other filters...

no pissing contest here...we are all trying to maximize our winnings...

Ramper... do you follow a format on how to play games a, b, and c?

For example when chasing a team, do you play the game a with a medium bet, game b should be the largest of the 3 and game c be the smallest bet? Just curious...

Thanks!

Dude, tell me if I'm wrong here. JM nfl system states if its a number like 2 1/2,3,5,6,7...you should but a 1/2 or 1 whole point. I think we are all taking for granted that Giants won(by 3 points), IF you took the money line you won, but if you followed JM system, the Giants were giving 7 points, so JM system says that you should have bought the 1 point, that makes the Giants -6 and that becomes a loss. I know lots of people took the -320 moneyline(which is really high),but the bottom line is the Giants were a failure with JM's system, if I am fucked up and wrong please tell me so, oh and yes, I also played the moneyline...its a good thing I did or I would have had a loss.

Ketut and Glen,

I am confused now and I'm hoping you can shed some light on last Sunday's Giant's game with regard to the JM system.  I thought the play was on the moneyline for the Giants as a (B) bet since the Giants were favored.  If I understand the system correctly, you never bet the spread on a favorite, always the moneyline.

Am I missing a caveat here or an important filter?

You are correct.  Not sure where some people are getting their information from and posting their interpretation of the plays.

It is definitely confusing especially to the sheep which blindly follow posters without truly understanding the rules of the system.

on3 posts on another thread modified Jm football system.

even though that system starts after 2 su and ats losses, JM plays comes into play and the postings are so much easier to follow than in this thread.  People usually step back and make sure they are correctly posting plays rather than just throwing out interpretations which confuse many readers.

Best of Luck

You are correct.  Not sure where some people are getting their information from and posting their interpretation of the plays.

It is definitely confusing especially to the sheep which blindly follow posters without truly understanding the rules of the system.

on3 posts on another thread modified Jm football system.

even though that system starts after 2 su and ats losses, JM plays comes into play and the postings are so much easier to follow than in this thread.  People usually step back and make sure they are correctly posting plays rather than just throwing out interpretations which confuse many readers.

  MY BAD ,IF your team is the underdog you buy the point if needed,this is what he says

If you do not understand what the point spread means, let me explain: Each game that you wager on will have a point spread. If your team has a spread of +5.5, then betting on the spread means that you can lose the game by 5 points, and you will still win the bet.

I also recommend that you buy half a point (.5) onto the point spread if your team happens to be an underdog with an exact spread of either +2.5, +3, +6.5, or +7.

One exception is that you should not make a bet for any team late during the season when it has already been eliminated from playoff qualification. As long as your team still has any kind of a playoff chance, then they’re good to go; but if they know that they aren’t going to qualify for the playoffs regardless if they win all of their remaining games, then chances are they might not put 100% into their plays, and it’s not worth it to risk your money when your team might not be playing with its  best effort.

This last paragraph is interesting, ..close to -110, not Even close with the Giants at -320.

The NFL system is extremely profitable because you will win more than 97% of your series bets, while laying only -110 odds most of the time. It is very rare for a team to lose 3 consecutive times straight up as well as on the spread and be a favorite coming into their next game, so betting on the spread will give you -110 odds every time your team is an underdog (which is the case almost all the time!). If in the rare case your team is a favorite, then chances are they are not a favorite by much (they just lost 3 consecutive times straight up as well as on the spread!), and the odds aren’t going to be much far off from -110.
