Juve/Gonzo/Allin...whichever alias you want to use today...Not a whole lot I can actually say other than yes, picks have been totally brutal, and SYSTEM has big-time bonked this Bowl season. Facts are facts..it has downright sucked. But having been a bettor for longer than you've probably been breathing, I'll pass on your insights. As far as handicapping winners consistently in 5-10 minutes a game, I'm sure there are hundreds of cappers on this site that are rolling on that statement. Absurd. And for being behind the eight-ball, I've made enough money doing this that I haven't "worked" for over 2 years and I am retired at the old age of 52...I won't "work" again...
As to your heralded success, congrats. I don't make excuses and won't. Bowl Games, Play-off Games (NFL as well), etc. are generally won/covered by teams that run the football and can stop the run, as well as intangibles. This year that has not held true. A bounce here a bounce there.. While games last Bowl season played very much to the norm, this year they haven't. Things change, circumstances change. Why didn't the Red Sox win the Series this year? Why aren't the Patriots in the Play-offs this year? Why did Romeo Crennel and Mike Shanahan get fired this year? THINGS CHANGE-THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT G-A-M-B-L-I-N-G MAN! Bounces and breaks?? How many games had a "cover" in question with 2 minutes to go..certainly 2 of your's yesterday! What happens if they don't over-rule the 4th and 22 completed pass at the end of the MichSt game...or if they spot it 2 inches differently? Tell me you honestly weren't sweating the last minute of USC's cover when they snap the ball over the punter's head! Last year, we got those breaks..this year nada!! Again, not an excuse..just facts a bettor can't ignore...
And as to the "write-ups" that you don't like..tough shit man...you may find this hard to believe, I did not post them with you in mind! As mentioned, and as you so eloquently and cleverly like to mention..we release these picks for and to those people that actually subscribe EXPECT them. They want something for their money. Whether the info is a hit or miss, some offer the kind of info you don't get in your 5-minute alalysis. And you know what..we've got subscribers that bet more on some games than you'll claim on your 1099..and none have bitched about "write-ups". And yes, some of these guys lost major money..but none of the 56 bitched like you who paid NOTHING! And for the record, since you throw this out as well..no-one here has been asked to pay one frickin cent for a picks from a proven SYSTEM that did not turnout results as it has in the past, or will again. Nevertheless my apologies to guys on here that may have lost a buck or two on them. Believe me, it hurt my pocketbook more than anyone reading this..
But you know what? I've been doing this long enough to know that streaks come and go, bounces bounce differently, and the sun still rises. And I've been around long enough that I can spot a real "loser" who sits alone (with all his friends?!) in front of his computer at midnight on New Year's firing his funny bashes every 2 minutes...get a life man..
If the Bowls were starting tomorrow...and when they start next Dec., I'll still be using the same System, hopefully I'll just get some better bounces.
As far as your 5 minute 70% System, best of luck with it. Maybe next year you can post your games with real lines and real plays. If they don't hit, blame your cute goat and iguana. And if you're consistently as good as your method..people will pay you handsomely for your picks...even when you hit a cold streak. And maybe someday you can post a few POSITIVES on this site since you have so many to add...instead of jumping on here like the class-less jerk you are and showering everyone with your negatives...

i want to know what your picks are rgonzo. I want to know what BucBackers picks are as well. He isn't having a great bowl season at all but i do give him credit cause when he said to go large on the holiday bowl i did.
I know the game already started but i got Ole Miss t +4.5. You can tell im not lying cause they are down 14-7 right now.

BucBacker, I think the only i dont get about your picks yesterday was that Cincy pick. If your system stresses running the ball and stopping the run, than VT was clearly the choice. I understand that is not the only criteria in your system but it just seemed so obvious to buy the hook on VT and get 3 points. Im not complaining or bashing but i have also heard you talk about coaches and teams being in big bowls for the first time and to fade them. I wish you the BOL and hope you keep coming with picks. Dont let others get to you.

KBIT--Cincy pick was primarily based on their special teams, the way Brian Kelly prepared them, and what I figured to be all the "desire" and momentum going in. Kelly's been to Bowls before with CMU and Cincy went last year. And I wasn't sold on VT's QB. But what do I know, I can't analyze a game in 5 mins..
I never buy hooks in Bowls. When 80% of all winners cover, don't think it figures in Bowls as often as regular season. Aside from the Rutgers/NCSt game maybe...has it even mattered in any?
