2013 Automated Buddah system spreadsheet

Question

Someone asked DegenGamble about automating the Buddah system, so he did, and we decided to post/follow how the system is doing. First you need a database build up, which I am doing now. I have a DB from May 7th, to today with the exception of May 18/19.

I'm not going to post any plays before there are at least 5 (W/L total) games of the similar situation. I'm not familiar with this system, so any help, tips, etc are appreciated. Let's make this work.

I'm going to try and post the May 7th DB and see if I can copy it back into my spreadsheet...in case someone misses a date I could or someone could post it.

If any one needs to copy and paste...either way, here's the instructions:

From your database to the forum, copy no more than 9 or 10 games, there's a limit!! And then, copy as "Plain Text".

If you are copying from the forum to the DB (MLB DB tab):

If you are inserting a day between other days, insert rows enough or more to insert these these games, otherwise you will copy over some of the games in the DB.

Otherwise,

Copy the games. In the DB, on column A (Date), right click and click on: Paste Special, click on Text...and everything should fall into place. If a box comes up about not being the same size or something, click Yes to continue to paste.

Okay, I tried it again at the bottom of the DB, and that box didn't come up. It says something along the lines of what you are pasting does not fit exactly with where you want it to go.

Best way is to just add the games at the bottom of the DB.

I doubt it matters whether it matters that the games are in order or not, just that they are there and that you only have one copy of them.

Great work buckeye - you could just keep a copy of the DB or entire file on google docs - and re-upload it with recent data if some one asks - just a thought
