Very promising on unofficial plays - hitting at 80% - we just need more data to get official plays - imagine if we had 5 years worth?
So that got me to thinking on how we could replicate it - we can't calculate NPERA - but we could use ERA and rank the pitchers that way - after further examination you can calculate MOB and RICKEY.
I'll look into it further.

It "appears" that pitchers are ranked in each TIER in Sagarin's Rankings by NPERA. If you look at the players ERA right next to it can be way out of whack - so I have to figure out a way to rank the players that mirrors normalized ERA

Yeah - I could rank by WHIP rather than ERA.

Not at the moment, just woke up,lol! I've never followed baseball like I have this year, from a bettor perspective. Before this year, I was more of a casual fan, so while Saragin, RPI, WHIP etc. I knew, I didn't bother with.
As far as with Excel, I'm still learning about Macros and formulas etc. Could you copy into a sheet, and then do the sort function from lowest to highest?

What I meant to say is....Is it possible to copy then sort?
