Please don't be so hard on Jlos, he must be broke and not getting laid, I mean, why else would he keep coming in here spending his time with this loser thread? Best thing to do is just ignore him as he's obviously looking for attention, and why he wants it from this thread, I haven't a clue. I guess it's probably better to have him in here acting out than to be out in the public at large committing some heinous act.
So thanks everyone for a fun bowl season. Hopefully we can do this next season. I hope you all lucked out like I did with that ArSt win...I got it at -3.5 yesterday.
Here are the values and net values with the lines for each team that I worked up for the playoff games, and, as you can see, this is why I laid off of the Colts.
Cin +2.3 +4.4
Hou +2.4 diff: +0.1 -4.5 = -4.4
Min +5.8
GB +13.8 diff: +8.0 -7.5 = +0.5
Ind -9.3
Bal +9.1 diff: +18.4 -7.0 = +11.4
Sea +1.0
Was +2.2 diff: +1.2 +3 = +4.2
............................................................
Bal -2.7
Den +10.5 diff: +13.2 -9.5 = +3.7
GB +6.7 +2.8
SF +6.9 diff: +0.2 -3.0 = -2.8
Sea +4.5 diff: +0.0 +1.0 = +1.2
Atl +4.5
Hou +1.7 +0.8
NE +8.9 diff: +7.2 -9.5 = -0.8
Looking at the values from this past week, Bal had a net value much higher than the line and won as such.
GB was about even value with the line, and if Ponder had played, who knows, the Vikings might have at least covered the 7.5.
Was had some value, and if RG3 had played at 100%, they might have covered, and even won, as the system suggests.
Cin was the disappointment, they had the value, and they kept it close enough to almost cover.
Looking ahead, GB and Den look to have some value.
Sea has a little value, although I feel Sea will win easily, but that's why I like to look at stats.
NE will probably win, but the line looks a bit high for a NE cover.
This is just one guide to evaluate the lines validity based on previous AWAY and HOME performances. Injuries need to be considered.
