Day 4 Recap
Brackson Continues To Roll!
Brackson gained another 332 points today by going 2-0 as he is starting to separate himself from the field. Although it's still early Brackson is in a great position of making it to the Quarterfinals.
Another Gladiator is doing quite well and we're not surprised. Degosfinest is always in the mix and Battle Forum IV is no exception. Degosfinest gained 150 points and solidified his hold on 2nd Place.
The days big winner is Thedeakon making a big move with a gain of 424 points and going 3-0. Thedeakon moves all the way to 3rd Place with his hot day.
Smoothd falls hard and fast. The Battle Forum is brutal. Smooth goes 0-3 and loses an amazing 391 points. The only thing worst thing Smoothd's meltdown was Bradytimes twin meltdown. Bradytime also went 0-3 to lose an incredible 419 points. These Gladiators fall to 12th and 13th respectively.
Wbellhaven had a great day and leaped frog his way to the magical 7th spot with a gain of 315 points.
As we close out Day 4 and get ready for our 1st Weekend of the Battle Forum the pressure is starting to mount. There is no doubt that this is arguably the toughest field and format we've had in the Battle Forum and the Gladiators are being tested to the max. Only the best will make it to the Quarterfinals and the Gladiators who are in minus territory need to make adjustments quickly or they will be eliminated. This is the Battle Forum. The Ultimate test and challenge!

It's starting to get tight as the Gladiators start to make their move as we enter the 1st weekend of competition. Remember only the 7 make it to the Quarterfinals where they will join the Champ in Head to Head Battles. We have 20 Gladiators competing in Battle Forum IV.

Day 6 Recap
T-Rexarms On Epic Losing Streak At 13 As Carnage Builds!
The blood is flowing in the Battle Forum and it's getting ugly. Newbie T-Rexarms is on a record losing streak in the Battle Forum at 13 in a row. But T-Rexarms isn't the only Gladiator suffering from the carnage. Manhands who isn't a newbie has lost 14 of the last 15 games Ouch!
Even traditional Battle Forum powers like Mondo, Unstoppable Force and Smoothd. Mondo is losing everday. Unstoppable can't get any traction and Smoothd has lost 7 of the last 9 including 3 in a row today. Crushalot who had been hot lost 341 points today going 0-3.Like we said it hasn't been pretty in the Battle Forum and the beatdowns have been continuous.
The only Gladiators to make any significant improvement was Brackson who extended his lead over Degosfinest. Bradytime took over the 7th and last spot to advance by gaining 109 points. Upset City gained 111 points to move up to the 12th spot.
As we enter into Sunday and the Halfway mark it's time for the Gladiators at the bottom to start winning or they will going home early. It doesn't take long in the Battle Forum to get your walking papers. So the pressure is on those Gladiators to start putting together winning days.

Day 7 Recap
Thedeakon Breaks Out The Big Weapons!
Thedeakon has soared to 2nd Place with a 3-0 Sunday to close out the 1st Half of this opening Round. Thedeakon gained 338 points to pull within striking range of the leader Brackson.
Meanwhile Upset City is steadily climbing back up the standings and is now in 8th place. He has posted gains in 3 of the last 4 days. There is going to be quite a battle for the 7th and last spot for the Quarterfinals. Bradytime, Crushalot, Upset City and laying low in the woods is Masterone who has been quiet but steady.
In other developments congrats to T-Rexarms for breaking that ugly 13 game losing streak. Now we need Manhands to snap out his funk as he has now lost 16 of his last 17 games including 8 in a row. If you can lose that many in a row you can also win that many in a row.
The 2nd half kicks off tomorrow and anything can happen as we have seen before in the Battle Forum. Nobody is safe just yet but the Top 3 Brackson, Thedeakon and Degosfinest are looking awfully strong right now.

| Day 8 Recap Thedeakon Soars Into 1st While Brackson Tumbles! Thedeakon moves into 1st Place but not so much by what he's doing. He went 2-1 but lost 5 points. The real reason Thedeakon has soared into 1st is because Brackson is suddenly sliding. Brackson has lost 5 in a row and 7 of the last 8. We now have a dogfight for the top spot between the top 4 Gladiators, Thedeakon, Degosfinest, Grambus and Brackson. This is important because the top Gladiator in this round will avoid the Champ until the Final Round. Upset City continues his consistent climb as he again has gained over 100 points, he gained 121 points today to be exact. We may have a repeat of Battle Forum III where 3 Gladiators battled for the last spot. We currently have Upset City, SBLCapital and Masterone battling for the 6th and 7th spots. This could be a Battle Royale on 2 fronts in the Battle Forum. |

Day 9 Recap
Manhands Sets Battle Forum IV Record with 533 points gained today!
It's been a busy day here in the Battle Forum but no one was busier than Manhands who posted a record 533 points gained. It's been a rough Tournament for Manhands so far but today was his day and who knows, with days like today he could still qualify for the Quarterfinals.
Brackson moved back into 1st Place as Thedeakon despite going 2-1 couldn't keep up with Brackson as he scored 389 points by going 2-0.
It looks like it's going be a wild finish as WBellhaven took the last spot from SBLCapital. Hashbrowns is't too far behind and could figure in deciding which teams make to the Quarterfinals.

Day 10 Recap
Thedeakon tighens his grip on 1st Place!
Like the Champ Atlanta has said "there's blood in the sand" and no doubt Thedeakon is starting to smell blood. Thedeakon went 3-0 to gain 300 points in his battle with Brackson for 1st Place in this 1st Round Showdown.
But the real drama in the Battle Forum Smoothd aside for just a minute is the slow death of Degosfinest. He has lost 447 points over the past 6 days. The only thing keeping Degosfinest in the Top 7 at this point is the continuous struggles of the 6th, 7th and 8th Place Gladiators. WBellhaven has steadied the ship and looks solid right now and looks solid in 5th place at the moment. Crushalot, Upset City, SBLCapital and Masterone can't seem to keep a winning streak going.
All of this brings us to the travails of Smoothd. Smoothd has become the Poster Child for painful losses in this Tournament. Once again believe it or not he was the unfortunate recipient of a 9th inning meltdown. That's 4 meltdowns if you're keeping score at home but we're not done. For the 3rd time in a week Smoothd lost a game in the 9th inning by a wait for it......Wild Pitch. That folks is called a million to one longshot. Losing games by a Wild Pitch maybe happen once every 5 years. It's happened to Smootd 3 times in a week. This is beyond ridiculous. This time it was the Miami Marlins and it happened exactly the way Seattle did it on Sunday night. The pitch wasn't even close as it ricochet off the back wall after an extremely wild pitch. Our latest reports was that Smoothd was threatening to jump off the Morrison street bridge in Portland, fortunately he was talked out of it.
Now with only 4 days left the table is now set for an absolutely crazy ending in the Battle Forum Opening Round. 7 Gladiators fighting for 4 spots. Get your popcorn ready it's going to be a great Weekend in the Battle Forum.

Day 11 Recap
UPSET CITY IS BACK IN THE MONEY!
Upset City has turned it around but it also came from some help from other Gladiators. Upset City gained only 63 points despite going 2-1 on the day. That's because Crush and SBLCapital lost points. Crush lost 67 points and SBLCapital lost 148 points. Every point is precious now at this stage of the tournament.
The Battle for the 6th and 7th spot is definitely going to be exciting as the Gladiators prepare for Weekend action. Upset City, Crush, Pillsbury, SBL Capital, and Masterone will be the Gladiators with the spotlight on them as they vye for the last 2 spots in the Quarterfinals.

Day 12 Recap
UPSET CITY IS ROLLING!
Upset City continues it's hot streak as he has now shot up to 3rd Place in this round. Upset City went 3-0 to gain 318 points. He has won 13 of 20 and has gone from being written off to a solid finish in the 1st Round. As Brackson continues to struggle losing 9 of 11 Upset City is closing in on 2nd Place. The Gladiators would like to see a possible matchup between Upset City and Degosfinest since it would be the first time the Brothers would face off in the Battle Forum. Oh what a match that would be.
Meanwhile the drama continues to build for the 7th and last spot. Pillsburydough is making a strong surge here going 9-3 in the last and gaining points everyday. He still has work to do in these last 2 days and will need some help. Masterone is still very much in the picture gaining 335 points in the last 3 days and looking good. The wheels have come off for SBLCapital but he can rebound with a 5-1 finish and some help from the Gladiators in front of him.

Day 14 Recap
Grambus Pulls a Surprise Attack!
It was a much quieter end to Round 1 of the Battle Forum than expected. I think we got spoiled by the dramas of Battle Forums II & III. Crush attempted to pull another rabbit out of his hat but he crashed and burned. But Grambus has balls of steel. In what could have been a disastrous move Grambus played 2 games and won to beat out Upset City for the 3rd spot. That move also spoiled the possibility of the Brothers Degofinest and Upset City squaring off.
You have to give Grambus. He avoided the 6th spot which would have put him on course with a date Thedeakon. Grambus took the chance and succeeded but if he would have failed and Crush or Pillsburydough would have gone 3-0 we would be singing a different tune. But the reality is Grambus did gamble and it paid off handsomely for him. Congratulations to all of the Gladiators moving forward to the next round. Job well done!

The Quarterfinals features the best Gladiators in the Battle Forum. They fought hard to get here and now they will battle Head to Head to see who advances and who will be eliminated. It's not going to be easy but then again it wasn't meant to be. When the new Battle Forum Champ is crowned he will know that he is the Best of the Best on Covers. He will also have the coveted Battle Forum Trophy as a lifetime memento of his worthy accomplishment. Tonight these 8 Gladiators take the next step in that conquest!

Quarterfinals Analysis
Grambus vs Upset City
Grambus has done well in the Battle Forum. He's continuing the tradition of newbies reaching the Quarterfinals but I think the quest ends here. Grambus is going up against an experienced Gladiator in Upset City who is also a former Battle Forum Champ. It's a different dynamic when it's head to head and I think Upset City has the advantage over Grambus in this match.
