Ahhh..as predicted Brackson13 steaming his way to the .500 mark on Survivor. Stop now enjoy your legend with a winning record...if you keep going you will be below .500 which will pour bleach all over your capping greatness.

LaCaze, maybe you should try skimming through some of the earlier posts...it's not a very intuitive website for threads (is there even a search available here?) so I understand if you didn't realize the fact that brackson already let us know how he makes his picks.  So I'll help you out before you and others continue to be made out as fools....

He plays on another site or two for their pick contests and he often picks opposite what he has on the other site.  When his streak started off hot is when he decided to concentrate on this site and made his best picks which were good enough to be placed on top of the all-time leaderboard.  He's most likely going back to the usual routine of concentrating on picks on another contest site b/c the odds of streaking up to even 17 again are beyond astronomical here.

Quit hating b/c you haven't paid attention and are being an ignorant jackass.  The guy never claimed to be a capper and he admits to having the run of his life.  But if you and others enjoy being bitter against those who have a proven track record while you do not, then that is your prerogative.

Proven track record? My survivor #'s are more and better than yours and as far as Jacksons..please. He doesn't have enough picks in this contest to deserve the luck..GET IT?....my point is valid. Look at his great system now... like I said .500 soon will be his...luck not even the word dude...he has no business being atop anything with this few a picks......no bitterness my 11 better than your 8...above .500 pretty close except I've now done it about twice as long as you....better track record than me is B.S. my numbers back it...we'll see where you and your junior gambling expert end up.

Dude, his 'system' is like most of ours...not many people are picking based on good research if any at all.  We're throwing poop at a wall and hope that something sticks.  Once streaking then any system plays or angles along with better research comes into play for most of us.  Once the streak is over are you seriously telling me you're putting in the same amount of time and research into your next play?  If so, congrats...b/c that 51.12% is real strong for that kind of effort (and I'm only saying this b/c with as many games you've picked I'm willing to bet that you're much like the rest of us when you pick on survivor, or no?).

I never called him anything other than a helpful capper who actually brought his thoughts and research out on the boards during his late stage of streaking and I think highly not only of the fact that he bothered to do that for us who were fading and/or tailing him but also b/c his research and angles were solid plays and some took guts to pull off.  You have 11 win streak, congrats dude.  Nothing like variance and math as well...you pick everyday and it's clear you're like the most of us so why bring in this negativity?  I'm throwing crap at a wall on most of my picks and my 52.42% is better than you if we're gonna have a person sizing contest...but again I"m assuming you're like most of us when making your daily pick.

Unless you really do good research into every single one of your picks you'd best STFU and GTFO.

@LaCaze- I take exception to this quote from you.

"he has no business being atop anything with this few a picks"..

How anybody can say that somebody and or team doesn't deserve something when they have already done it makes no sense. If he did it then he deserves it. If he didn't deserve it he wouldn't have achieved it. A win is a win if you didn't deserve the win  then you would have lost. Get it?

One more thing about some comments I hear. People talk about luck. You don't win 24 with luck. That's not to say that luck that doesn't play a role in winning some games but 24 in a row is definitely some skill involved. The great Billy Walters has stated on several occasions that handicapping takes more skill than Poker. So let's give other Cappers credit where credit is due.

No burnt...your % is like saying 6 out of 10 the same thing as 60 out of a 100 and it isn't DUDE. You got a lot more picking to go to be in my league...and I'll bet you when you have as many plays in as I do you WILL be BURNT TOAST!

I can understand your argument against me. I haven't been playing the contest very long, but someone with 695 has a large enough sample size to take seriously. If Burnttoast's math is correct (52.42% vs 51.12%), his picks would have been ever-so-slightly profitable at this point if you were betting real money on them, whereas yours would have lost lots and lots of money. So it's only fair that I ask...Where did you,the great and powerful lacaze, learn math?

Before you were born. But this isn't real money so your analysis is wrong. My point is this...and again you haven't been playing this contest long enough to get it....on here the more games you play the harder and harder it is to stay above .500 as you are well on your way to learning already genius.

If I never played another game in the streak contest, it's clear I would still have a better grasp of basic math than you do. My analysis is not wrong. 1300+ games, nearly four years' worth of picks if he's picking every day, is enough data to make an accurate assessment. I think it's impressive that both of you have been able to maintain your levels of consistency for as long as you have.

I don't have the same yearning for validation that you clearly have. If I did, I could come on here and say that the only thing that matters is your longest streak, so I'm the best ever. But I'm not an idiot, so I know that isn't true and wouldn't ever try to use it as an argument. You, on the other hand, need to make yourself feel superior to everyone else, so you tell them you are better than them because you have more...games played. Your performance is moderately impressive, but your logic is far from it.

I just find it amazing that some people (we call them haters where I'm from) just want to bash Brackson. Incredible. The man has been a class act through out this whole process but since his streak has ended he has had to repeatedly put his pimp hand down because guys just keep trying to invalidate his streak as "lucky" or any other demeaning term. I just don't understand why we just can't admire the streak for what it was...an amazing accomplishment.

I don't care if his dog made the picks anytime you hit 24 in a row it's something to be admired. It's like that woman a couple of years ago that had a perfect bracket going to the 3rd Round. Nobody had ever done that according to my recollection and when asked her secret she told the reporter she went by the names and the colors of the schools. Yeah that was weird but the bottomline was she did something that had never been done before and that was pick 32 games correctly in the 1st Round. So the bottomline for me is it doesn't matter how you pick'em if you're picking winners that's the bottomline because when you go to the Cashier's window that don't ask you how picked them. They just pay the money. Isn't that what this all about? The money?  I'm just saying.

My logic is very simple...keep playing so you have the longest streak with a sub .500 mark. You aren't bright enough to realize that it's coming and more sooner than later...and when that happens it will finalize my point. Finally, enjoy your xtra 25...see it several times a year already chief.

My argument was a) on behalf of Burnttoast and b) against your narcissism. It had nothing to do with me, and in fact I said I understood your argument against me a couple posts ago, so I'm not sure why literally your entire response was once again about my illegitimacy. I agree with you 100%. It would not shock me at all if I was below .500 soon.

I still think it's ridiculous for you to say that win percentage doesn't matter as much as games played. If this were a league contest on Covers and you and Burnttoast both had $500 units for every play, he would be up $1000 and you would be down about $38k. That's just a little more of that math stuff we were talking about previously.

Again you keep referencing "if's" about this game. You have no argument...24 in a row and below .500 I bet before even 150 total plays will speak for itself. This actually doesn't take a high IQ to figure out there action brackson.....you see you are painted into a corner on this...yeah, some people just see the streak...others, will as you slide right down the chute understand where luck falls when it comes to this deal. I'm done...except they can take your mug off any time...the Taco Bell dog been gone for years.

Appreciate the back up Brackson, you're here trying to make this very loose community a slightly better place and while it may be a very laborious and extremely large uphill battle, you and smoothd20 and any others that bring a slight edge for real bettors and streakers helps a lot.

But I think we all know this to be true (except for the haters):

We all should just let LaCaze play alone in the sandbox with his crayons.  The guy is obviously off his meds or he's gone into full blown beast mode when it comes to battling off brain cells.

Yeah lots of people complaining about the new format. Sometimes change isn't for the better. I like the colors though that's a nice touch but it could be smaller.

Thanks for the kind words and support Burntoast. I know Brackson feels the same. We're all just here for the camaraderie, streaking and the money. I don't know why the haters need to bring their own insecurities to the table but oh well. Let's keep riding!

Thanks for the kind words and support Burntoast. I know Brackson feels the same. We're all just here for the camaraderie, streaking and the money. I don't know why the haters need to bring their own insecurities to the table but oh well. Let's keep riding!
