@ 5 dimes.. they are doing a streak promotion also...(with easier goals than Covers promotions)
5 wins gets $100 "valued" item
10 wins gets $250 "valued" item
and so forth.
Going for my 5th win... I pick the Dodgers (Greinke) vs. Rockies June 7th and lost 
bad month for me also on Streak...3-8 for me so far in June.

It's been a great contest in Greeneyeddevils "Grand Slam MLB" contest. I'm currently in 1st place and this is the last day. I have Crush and a few others hot on my tail. I'm on a streak of 4....The wrong way... It does take luck to win this thing, but it also takes having your head in the game. I've been lazy and picking games without even looking at any matchups. It's time to get serious. I hadn't lost 3 in a row in over a year and now I am at a loss 4 and pissed. I need a new fukn hat and a hoodie for fall. A thousand for football season and 25 g's for.......... 
forget the 25, I'm going for the 100,000! Let's make some money, I'm tired of working too hard and being too tired to care about sports. There is a lot of baseball season left and I'm ready. Put me in coach!

Here is a strategy that I have followed in the past and I'm starting to follow it again. If you take the top 5 on the Leaderboard for wins the last 10 days they're a combined 41-8 for a .836 winning pct. That's incredible.
Now the caveat is making sure you tail the right one. I tried this briefly a couple of years ago and got frustrated because the minute I implemented the strategy I lost like 4 or 5 in a row on Survivor. If you're betting money on this you should come out ahead. It seems to work best in the 2nd half of the month when the leaderboard takes shape. Keep this strategy in mind as your streaks progress.
