Serious Streak Survivor Strategies

I'm going with Weber St tonight to stay in contention for the Monthly prize. I'm right there with the leaders at 13! Let's Ride! 

 

This is the first time I have been in contention for the monthly this late in the month. I'm excited for the opportunity. The only thing I can point to for my success this month is I have really tried to avoid what I would deem as the "trap" games or games where everybody and their mama is on one side. I'm still big on the recent trends and try to throw in a solid road favorite when I see one. Most of my wins are coming from College Basketball. Good luck to all the contenders this month. 

we are in the same boat smooth, although I'm still 1 win behind. like you i have never been in contention this long.  Tonight and the rest of the month.

Portland owns San Antonio and with such a small number you can win some easy cash tonight. Take Portland -2 and you can thank me later! Good Luck and I will see you at the Cashier's window!

wow i had like 5 potential picks today and wouldn't you know the one i chose was the only one that lost. LOL and it wasn't even close

Just jumping in on this thread. I've had a good month so far, and hoping to keep it up. Love this site, and to go to your post 12129, "we have avoided the long protracted wars and ego contest that you see on the other threads. " Not looking for that at all. I'm way too old for that, and money in my pocket means more than being a "badass" on the internet.

Chevy-I know the feeling my man. Same thing happened to me. The one game I picked on Survivor lost. The other games that I would have picked all won. That's the thing about these streak contests is sometimes you have the winners just a matter of picking the right ones. 

Congrats to our Canadian friends like T99 and others on their outstanding Hockey victory today against the U.S. 1-0 what a game! Now go beat Sweden!

Now that the Olympic break is winding down be prepared for some solid NHL action on the Unders. It's been proven year after year that the good teams will clamp down as head into March and every game is vital for Playoff seedings. This is especially true when 2 contending teams are playing each other.
