Hmmm You mean Cowboys? Doesnt look really good for them.. Took Xavier at +4.5.. but it grow up to 6.5.. doesnt look good either..

Tried to send a PM to both smooth and crush about betting O/Us in the NHL but cannot seem to do it; anyway, if you check Parmy's post from when this thread 1st started, that type of bet becomes useful but it seems the unders are prevailing more often now. Actually, O/U betting has killed me over the long run but ???? In any case, perhaps checking her(?) original post might prove valuable.

The best system I have ever seen is in the NFL.  If a team loses by a lot of points or is embarrassed on the road then plays home the next week then 73% of the time the home team that got crushed the week before covers. Case in point New Orleans losing to seahawks then beating Carolina.  

Embarrassed is the key word here.  A sorry team which often loses by a lot will not be embarrassed when they lose.  However, a good team like the saints will be. 

Another good one is betting college football teams coming off a bye. I believe this trend covers 60%. and betting College home underdogs on Thursday night tv as I believe this covers about 70% of the time.
