It's all luck...I have won the $1000 and have never gotten close again, well the closet was 11 but look back at any one who has ever got to 17 and see if they climbed that mountain. There is one very interesting thought, of all the streak to 17 a huge % are new players ?...but hey I'm all for gettin thoughts together on who's gonna win just remeber...Michigan vs Applachin state or Norhtwestern lost alreadly this year.
I'm a little curious how you say Michigan has lost when they haven't played yet and Northwestern did beat Cal. I do however agree with your assessment about new players getting high streaks.

There is no doubt that luck does play a role in Survivor but to dismiss the ability to Cap I believe is a mistake. Luck plays a role in every game but knowledge of the individual games increases your chances of winning IMO.

For the new people here's the basic rules, I have 5 entries and can't use the same team twice per entry. All picks are against the spread on a sheet provided by stations casino. All spreads have a half point in them so there will be no ties. On to the picks-

Smooth, don't get to high on the eagles yet, skins did zero on offense the first half, thus giving the eagles way more plays. Let's give it a few weeks and see if it still works that well. My thought is it won't.

I don't think I have ever seen a field be wiped out that quick in my years of hearing about that contest including the last few that you have been reporting to us about it. That is amazing.

This is my 2 cents on the Richardson trade. Some sports franchises are run by guys who have more ego than brains. I've heard numerous pundits say how this is a "brilliant" move, "great" move and so on. That's hogwash. You trade your best Offensive player, a player you picked #3 overall in the draft for what?...a late 1st round pick. Your team already sucks so you were going to get a solid QB in the draft anyways so that argument holds no water whatsoever. You already have a decent Defense and a potential great WR in Josh Gordon. All you needed was a QB and a better Offensive line. So now you trade your best player for a crap shoot in next year's draft. This will go down as one of the dumbest trades since the Vikings gave up the world for Herschel Walker. The crook that owns the Browns is just another cheapscape that shouldn't own a sports team. I'm not a Cleveland fan at all but how many times can one city get screwed by the same Franchise. Rebuilding my behind. They have been rebuilding since they came back in the league. The season ticket holders really got screwed because these Assclowns have just basically given up on the season in Week 3.
