boo, those percentages dont tell you how much money is on a side, thats why they can be misleading,i never look at that stuff,its kinda useless. eagles had dropped to +2.5 at some offshores,that alone should tell you large money was on eagles and also a 30K bet was put in at mgm on eagles.

regardless,your right,eagles are bad and havent bet for them all year or even last year. I was also looking for saints to step up on defense and they did when it mattered in the red zone.

if you see 80% or higher near gametime you get a good feel for what the general public is liking and they are usually wrong when most are in agreement.

also be careful following line moving bets, Pete Rose would bet big didnt help him pick winners, only difference is Pete didnt pay up

Covers announced about a month ago and posted several messages regarding the issues of the Avatars the few weeks Apparently the advertisers have been putting pressure on them to clean it up as the Avatars have gotten progressively more explicit. They have scraped the personal Avatar system for now and will install some sort of verification and approval process before you can have your own Avatar. I believe they said they will take about a month to set up. The policy was not enforced with consistency and it seemed to be uneven. Covers says they couldn't police the whole site so this was the only way of gaining control of this situation. Many people were flagged or punished for having sexually explicit Avatars including myself while others were able to get away with total nudity. At least this way we will all start out on the same foot and there will be a clear delineation on what's acceptable and what isn't.

NFL under 42.5 and I dont trust colts by 3 might be a push 16-13 or a late TD for the backdoor cover for the Jags like 16-14

boo, i try and factor all angles in including line moves as information,i agree,betting soley on line moves is not a good idea.

8-0 going for 9-0 not sure if im picking NCAA tomorrow or waiting til Sunday to pick NFL.... my method has been slow and steady. kinda leaning New England - 11 any ideas?

This argument seems to come up every year. I'm not saying that the refs are perfect but I'm very cynical about the NBA being rigged. There is way too much money that the players make, refs are payed very well also. For this guy to claim that he has proof and 100% lock proof that it is and still wants to bet on it is crazy. My question is what is the "proof" that he has? That would be interesting to know.

I was in Mexico many years ago and we were betting on a Jai Lai game. Jai Lai for those not from Miami or Mexico is a game that is basically handball with curved rackets. Fast paced game with 2 players. Any way as I'm about to place my bets I over here this guy tell this other man who to bet because the game was fixed. He was speaking in Spanish so I caught the gist of what he was saying. I said to myself 'what the hell' I don't know nothing about this anyway I'm going to bet what this guy is touting as a fix. Basically if I remember you can bet the top 2 finishers to win the Quinella. I went back to my seats and told my friends what I did. They couldn't believe. I said you guys should go bet it. One of my friends did the other didn't.

Well it didn't look good at first but the fix was in and the players did what they were supposed to do. Those Mexican Jai Lai players are very good at making it look good. We cashed $50 tickets for a $4 ticket. I have no doubt that the boys in the know cashed out big time off that payout. My friend and I couldn't believe it. My other friend that didn't bet on it was mad. They wanted to find the guy to see if he had anymore "tips". I said hell no I'm cashing out and getting out of here. One fixed Jai Lai game in Mexico is enough for me. LOL. Great times down in Mexico. Too bad the drug cartels have ruined a great country.

NBA is fixed,maybe not every game,but it is.I saw a you tube video with larry brown when he was in philly with iverson and by the conversation with iverson and the head ref,then brown and the head ref,it was fixed.

Brown said"my guys dont even have any piece of this game" to the ref. the ref was calling a lot of bd fouls on iverson.

It does happen,just be on the right side!

I have been hear this fix stuff since I was a kid. Now I believe the college game with all it's scandals has had issues. But the NBA has the highest average salary of any sport on the planet. 13 players on a team I'm sure contributes to that. Average salary is close to $6 million per year. I absolutely refuse to believe that player making $6 million is going to be involved with Fat Tony out of Vegas to make a lousy $50,000 grand. Sorry fellas. Unless somebody gets into a Pete Rose situation I just don't believe it. Now the college game like I said earlier that's a different story.
