Excellent points Plisskin. I was one of those that fell for the Bengals. Please post these great observations BEFORE we all fall for this next time. Thanks.
Yeah, I hear you. with the key numbers of 3 and 7, the books at least here in vegas will juice one side more. From what I've seen this season, a hi percentage of the time following the juice is the right way to go. This applies to 2nd half bets also. I have gone against before and won, but only twice all season. Last nite I doubled up on giants over 25 -120. I loved the over again anyway and it opened 24.5 so not much value difference in 25.
I don't monitor the online books much, as I have 9 books here in vegas I monitor. also betting percentage I don't follow much either.

OK. 5 in a row here with seabags win! Took stupid prop bet on espn, killed my 5 streak, dammit.Gotta stop doing those. Figured lynch vs 32nd run D would yeild an advantage.

I got totally screwed on ESPN. Apparently and this is 2nd hand info. Arksansas Little Rock screwed up the inbound pass and Oral Roberts hit a prayer for a 3 point buzzer shot to win. This is after Arkansas fouled Oral Roberts inexplicably with 4 seconds left on the clock to tie it. That's stupid play and bad coaching. So that screwed my run on SFTC as well. Oh well I have enough time left to a few runs at it over there.

The Yahoo Fantasy Football Playoffs-Bay Area Bad Newz League took place and the Bad Newz is that both 25 Dime Club members got eliminated. Bombs Over Dallas (smoothd) was blasted out of the water by 4th and 20. 4th and 20 avenged an earlier lost to Bombs Over Dallas and knocking them out of the Playoffs.
The Gizzi Monsters defeated Dirty South(Edwardglenn) for the 2nd time this season. Dirty South tried to make a game of it but came up just short as they too were knocked out of the Playoffs as the Gizzi Monsters will advance to the Semifinal Round. Give a hand to your 25 Dime Club members for a hard fought season and be proud that both clubs made the Playoffs in a tough league. Next year hopefully we will have more members play fantasy ball with us and maybe even get our own league who knows. Congrats to Edwardglenn and Smoothd for great years.

I had under 112 in the Wisconsin game and it ended at 114 I lost a W1 and feel like it sucks so I know a win 13 over on a half pt. has got to be upsetting

I lost my streak my of 5 streak on SFTC behind some bullshit when Arkansas Little Rock couldn't inbound a freaking pass and prior to that some Einstein fouled Oral Roberts with 4 seconds on the clock. Our quality of basketball has it the gutter straight up especially some College teams. Everybody trying to make the NBA in 1 season and forgetting the fundamentals.

I see you live in Nevada. I was considering a move there. What is it really like. My knees are getting worse and was told the ideal climate for me was in Arizona or Nevada. Winters are getting harder to deal with and once it gets too cold I am quickly reminded of my knee problems
any input appreciated

I will give you my 2 cents worth since I lived in Las Vegas for 5 hellish years and I spend considerable time in AZ for business. Las Vegas is the shit hole of America. Worst city to live in my opinion especially if you have kids. I don't know your domestic situation but if you have kids please don't do it. Worse school system. Nevada spends less per capita on students than any state. Thats amazing when you consider the amount of money that flows through Vegas. Here's a stat that will blow you away. The entire state of Nevada has 5 Colleges, UNLV, University of Nevada Reno (UNR) Nevada State Henderson, University of Phoenix, and National University. That's it. I'm not counting Community Colleges. We have more colleges in a 10 mile radius in Portland than the whole state of Nevada. Oakland has more colleges than the entire state of Nevada. Crime rate is through the roof. They don't tell you that part in those lovely brochures. Vegas is great for visiting of if you're young single man you will have a ball. But if you have a family worse move you can make. Porn magazines on some corners for free. Just open it up and there it is. I knew I had to get the hell out of there when one of my sons age 7 at the time told he and his friends picked up one of those entertainment newspapers. For my friends that live in Vegas don't take this wrong. Every man has his own style. I have quite a few friends that live there and 2 friends that want to move there. I know that in the 25 Club Crushalot and Plisskin live there. They might love it but that's my take on Vegas. My only reason for moving there was to be close to my Mom who passed away in 2007. She loved it as well.
Despite the bad publicity the State of Arizona receives I actually like it there. People are very nice. I prefer Tucson over Phoenix. Phoenix is quite smoggy and is starting to remind me of LA. Tucson on the other hand is great town. Summers will be brutal in AZ so if you like your summers in 115+ area you will be in heaven. Northern AZ is quite nice. Flagstaff is beautiful. I had the chance to go to Lake Havasu for the first time last year. Very nice place. I missed the spring break action though. Again this is only my view. One man's trash is another man's treasure. I look at it like women, every man has his own taste. Take a trip and see for yourself what your spirit tells you. I firmly believe that every City has it's own identity and when spend time there you get a sense of whether its a good fit for or not. I apologize for the wordiness but I think you guys are used to me by now.

One more thing I will add about Vegas. If you can find an actual native they're actually really cool people especially the older natives. They will entertain you with stories about how things were when the mob ran the town. Apparently most of the bullshit that goes on there wasn't tolerated when the mob ran the town. Go figure. But I have heard that from so many people from different backgrounds it must have some truth to it. The problems are from the knuckleheads that come to Vegas from other parts of the country especially my home state of California. I love Cali but one thing I will say is where ever Californians go we tend to bring a bunch of crap with us. Gangs, high real estate prices and just a fucked up attitude. Mix that in with guys from Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philly and other Eastern Citys and it just doesn't mix well. I saw more dead bodies in Vegas than I have in my entire life. All from traffic accidents except one, when some poor kid got stabbed to death. In Vegas they give out points for hitting pedestrians and Red lights mean- speed through you're in Vegas. Green lights should come with a warning sign-WATCH OUT FOR THE COLOR BLIND ASSHOLES THAT'S ABOUT TO HIT YOU! At any rate my point is the town turned to crap because of the people that came from all over the country and brought their problems with them and decided that in Vegas anything goes and they can do whatever they fucking felt like doing. I will also say this the Police in Vegas don't fuck around. The court system is no joke. Those fools from Cali find out quick that the bullshit they got away with in Cali with a slap on the wrist will get you a stiff sentence in Nevada. I believe OJ found that out the hard way but that's a whole other story.

The funny thing is that sounds allot like where I live now. It was much better here when the Italian mob had a presence but that changed when the Reading Railroad(the same one from the game Monopoly) shut down and businesses started leaving. Now it is predominantly these 3rd world Latino gangs selling crack and killing each other. The laws here are ridiculous, the prison and court system are the biggest businesses and are booked solid for years to come. The city is bankrupt and the Mayor said publicly that public libraries and public transportation like the bus are not responsibilities of the city and will no longer be funded, they are more interested in having the area crime ridden because the money being made from it is in the millions easily. Room and board at the prison, fines, court costs, parking meters everywhere and the lists goes on. There are no warnings anymore you either get a big fine or arrested so they can charge you for the ride in the cop car. The history that was once here is gone without a trace. Codes are not enforced and there is plywood in the windows and abandoned factories that are falling apart. I am glad I live in the suburbs of this shit hole, the inner city of Reading is absolutely horrible and most people that live there live in filth and fear and never walk the street at night alone no matter what you are doing, you will get attacked, gangs with young kids everywhere. When I say young I have seen from ages like 8 to 18 all running together and they make no secret they are a gang and sell crack and they own the streets. I got attacked once using a pay phone, hit over the head with a 40 oz. beer bottle and busted my head wide open and robbed. Shortly after I moved. I also had a gang leader ask me when I was going to move because he said my place was a good location for a crack house and he suggested the sooner I move the better, that was 12 years ago and it has gotten much worse.
I'm not looking at an immediate move, the boys are still in school here and I take care of my mom as she cant be living alone anymore in her old age. Eventually I need to move because my knees are shot and the older I get the more the cold weather really takes a toll. The weather and cost of living had me looking at parts of Arizona and Nevada. Of course if I ever got 25 in a row on here I could move to Hawaii which is where I would rather live, but I have to look at what I have money wise currently and when the time comes take a road trip and see what things are really like. Its funny you mentioned brochures because I have seen some from just outside of Vegas and they make it look nice enough but my first thought was check it out first because the last thing I want is to move to the same type of situation.
Thanks for the input Smooth

And we get the worst of New York, Philly, Delaware, Jersey, etc. because they come here and see that they can take a $2 bag of crack and sell it for $10, and there are plenty of kids willing to sit in a crack house selling. Heroin is also becoming a huge problem as well
I make no secret about it I have no problem with responsible use of marijuana and alcohol, and having chronic pain and slight glaucoma and would like to get a medical marijuana card but they don't allow that in this state and I'm not going out of my way to get in trouble, too many people counting on me. I stopped the pain meds because they were addictive and took their toll on me physically. It took me 2 years to recover from taking hydrocodone and morphine and I dont recommend the use of either.
