Are You Friggin Kidding Me?

Just like clockwork, more utterly bizarre stuff from covers. Apparently in the NBA Finals Game 4 contest, some people only had to get 10 right to get 10 pts, while others had to get 11 right to get 10 pts. How you may ask? Because people got different picks. Go to the leaderboard. You will see the person on top, lazyboy43, had as his first choice the game spread - pick the Celtics or pick the Warriors. Then he had the Celtics total, then the Warriors total. Now look at Kowalabear, 4th on the list. His first choice was the Celtics total, then the Warriors total. Where's the game spread you may ask? It's his 4th choice, combined with the game total! He (as well as me and who knows what % of the contestants) had to get the game spread and total correct to get 1 point, while the winner (and who knows what % of the contestants) had to just get the game spread correct.

Again, I'm not saying covers is corrupt or doing underhanded things deliberately. I'm saying they're inept or their site is malfunctioning and they haven't noticed, which some would also call inept. You can search my posts and see my other post about covers changing my wins and losses. What I posted is easily verified. You can count the wins and losses in my history and see they don't match with what covers says is my wins and losses. And I have a screenshot from a few weeks earlier showing that this was not always the case. One day a few weeks ago covers changed my numbers.

 In the overall contest coachrob is 3 pts behind the leader, the previously mentioned lazyboy43 who only had to pick the spread in Game 4. Coachrob also picked the spread correctly, but he had to also get the total correct to get a point in Game 4, which he did not. So he should only be 2 behind, not 3 behind.

covers in my opionion is the best online site there is for multiple reasons, one being all the great (free) contests they run. But I hear there are other sites on the WWW. If people are so inclined to.

 Why so sad.  I just don’t understand. Are you happy with covers and what they offer ( best forums, great articles, unbelievable amounts of cash give aways, and enough swag everyone should be rocking it (as I do daily) ).  Or do certain things about the site make you sad/angry.  If you feel the negatives outweigh the positives then why not jump ship.

 You call someone dumb in one post, then in the next you say that two short paragraphs are too long for you to read. Because clearly the route to intelligence is being too dumb to read and/or too incurious to read! I bet I could give you 30 of my IQ points and you still couldn't get into MENSA. 

How could anyone NOT think it's a problem that some people in a contest got a point for picking a side, while others only could get a point by picking the side and total? Let me simplify it for the not-too-bright: it's like some people getting $100 on a straight bet, while others get $100 only if they hit a 2-team parlay. Would you consider that fair? Would you think it makes any sense? If so, are your mother and father brother and sister?

What a great life some people live!!   Seriously.   Sounds like their only concern is how a FREE contest is being ran.

Since it sounds like you might not be  intelligent enough to realize it -  you're living the perfect life.   Congrats!!

 What does it matter? If you think that the rules should not be the same for everybody, that some people should have to make a pick to get a point and some should have to get a 2-team parlay correct to get a point, say that and try to defend that. Saying 'It's free, so who cares if it isn't fair or functional' is epicly dumb. Pity there isn't a mute function so I could eliminate the sub-100 IQs and dolts who can't recognize, much less form, a coherent argument.
