Ghana played like garbage! Colombia could of easily scored 4 goals in this
game. Ghana on the backfoot since the game started. Their
xpg was 0.27. They didnt have 1 shot on target. Maybe the worst performance
by an african team this round.
I meant Cape Verde vs Argentina.
Ghana didn't play that bad, defensively, their keeper and back line kept Colombia to one goal, and Colombia tried like hell to add another up until '85.
Ghana's defensive plan rarely works but is sometimes the only shot when there's this much of a mismatch. They can't play an attack/open game against the likes of Colombia, IMHO, so they defend, defend etc... hoping for a steal, counter, lucky bounce an equalizer and go to PK.
For that gameplan I thought they did OK
But Cape Verde gave Argentina one helluva match!
