I'm going to keep rolling with the good times, not going to let the Yankees take me off of my cloud.
The next game is the one most are looking forward to and with the lineups having just been announced, I'm not impressed with the USA back line...at ALL. I knew some guys would be out b/c of yellow cards (Richards and Robinson) and they happen to be the best we have back there. Depending on the game flow, they may or may not play so that they are not risked of missing the next match, which would be so much more important.
At the same time, I am not very sure that Pocchettino wants to screw with a good thing and so they will be on high alert if Turkey scores. Comically, and I mean it, the Turks are juiced to over -300 to score tonight! That is just plain nuts for a team that has not scored a goal. If I didn't really also believe that would score, I would take a shot at the under. But given our back line, and the Turkish focus on scoring at least a goal, they will be a lot more free flowing.
The USA will also want to get the ball in the back of the net and keep up the momentum, but I'm afraid with all the changes in our starting 11 it might be painful at times. I'm concerned about turnovers but that will lead to an open game. I mean Australia got two on Turkey, so I would be very surprised if the USA didnt' get the same.
Given what I am writing, it's clear I am on:
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (USA/TURKEY) -165....BIG PLAY: I'm not going to use the other terminology that has seen some bizarre outcomes when I do so let's just call this a big play. I realize, these are big odds but I'll take an enjoyable game which dare I say may have more than 3 goals in it. Plus the USA rarely if ever keeps a clean sheet.
OVER 3.5 FG (+155): I mean why not. I think this game will just be a good game to watch, the USA played exquisitely on this field a couple of weeks ago, and there is no reason why collectively, if Turkey scores-which I and so many others believe they will- this can't happen. It's worth a play being that Pepi and Gio Reyna seem to operate well together and Timothy Weah plays really well as a winger and his pace will trouble the Turks back line which hasn't been great. Last time they played 5 goals were in this match, I'd take a 3-2 USA win here.
Doing a bit of housekeeping now to update everything. Today really helps but there is more to come tomorrow. I might revisit with an additional play but I'm not sure how confident I am in Paraguay/Australia, neither team has been exciting even though one of them might be able to get out of the group as a third place team.
UNDER 1.5 FH (CURACAO/IVORY COAST)
NETHERLANDS OVER 2.5 TT (-155)...BIG PLAY!!!

YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (JAPAN/SWEDEN) -135...BIG PLAY!!!

YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (GERMANY/ECUADOR) -135
Funny what can happen when you change some things up. Really great day and funny enough when looking back at it, I actually did wager on every game. Being I have another on the USA game I might just pass on the Australia/Paraguay game.
UPDATED RECORD: 79-53-1 (BIG PLAY: 28-17-1)
