Been HORRIBLE the last few days, not even sure how. I seem to be on the wrong end of every upset and Morocco showed how being overconfident can cost you, even though it didn't cost them as much as it cost me/us! I will limit plays today, after all I wound't play every NFL game.
I am close to flat now on the tournament and the record is updated so you can see the losses are occurring on Big Plays which is hitting me hard as those are some that I find little way to lose. I do NOT use a "system" (I'm not sure anyone does after all) but I analyze every game. We are only two weeks in so I would tell everyone to tread lightly or just assess the plays before making them on your own.
I'm going to list a few plays now that span the ENTIRE day. I do want to see lineups now that it's the third game. I got really bamboozled backing weak lineups with Morocco and South Korea. The Haitians couldn't have been a bigger thorn in the side and I should have known better with the South Koreans.
UNDER 1.5 FH (CURACAO/IVORY COAST): Make no mistake, I think the Ivory Coast can (and should) win this game but this is also the first time they are favored to win. Curacao have conceded 11 of their last 15 goals after half-time and six of Ivory Coast’s last seven goals at the World Cup came after half-time. Clearly things could effectively go differently but there is a lot of pressure in this game as either teams has a chance to advance when there was no way imaginable that they would before the tournament.
NETHERLANDS OVER 2.5 TT (-155)...BIG PLAY!!!: Not going to have many big plays but this is one of them. Tunisia have given up 4 goals in back to back World Cup games marking a record for ineptness. Now they face the Netherlands who happily for the wager have not yet won their group. They can score at will but they do happen to concede strangely to teams they should pummel. There is no question who the outright winner will be and maybe Tunisia doesn't give up 4, but they will give up 3. Also might be adding the FH over.
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (JAPAN/SWEDEN) -135...BIG PLAY!!!: PLEASE. The Japanese have progressed to the knockouts every chance they seemingly have gotten and Sweden is far better with Isak playing (he was hurt for most of their qualifying). Both teams netted against the Dutch and neither team have as good a defense as the Netherlands, though that's not saying much from what I wrote above. I took this yesterday at -145 so happy it's come down a bit. Lineups won't matter as both teams will put their strongest squads on the field.
I LOVE the USA game tonight but gonna wait to see who they are starting and the same can be said for the Germany game. I've stopped worrying so much about lineups but in the final games there can easily be a lack of cohesion and chemistry from the players that are switched out. I'm not going to add many more plays but I will be on the USA game I see zero way that Turkey goes this entire tournament without scoring and the USA could very well change their entire back line in a game that will matter for Turkey but not for the U.S. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

Is that -2.5 netherland or over 2.5 team total? Unclear
Should read OVER 2.5 TT.
Also adding on Germany game as they have announced their lineups. The spread jumped obviously but I like...
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (GERMANY/ECUADOR) -135: Germany crushes South American teams in the tournament and I expect they will do both the Ivory Coast and Curacao a favor and take care of Ecuador. They do tend to give up goals and I think Ecuador can get on the scoresheet today as five of Germany’s last six games saw both teams score.
I was truly expecting Germany to have some major switches in their starting 11 but such is not the case. Ecuador know they will have to be very sound defensively so it's just a question, in my mind, how much the Germans want to push and how long they will keep these guys on the field for. Ecuador won't stop as they know they need to at worst draw here to move on.

Thanks for all your hard work in this World Cup. Under ideal weather conditions, the Netherlands would probably put up 4 or 5 goals today over a Tunisia team that just wants to get on the airplane as soon as this game is over but the weather in Kansas City looks awful. I'm going to pass the game.

Ideally I was going to wait until closer to kickoff as some of these changes happen quickly. See the france game downpour that otherwise would have gotten us over the hump on the FH OVER 1.5 goals.
But thank you for mentioning that to the others in the thread. Very helpful. Also want to see if the rain is all day or intermittent. With big thunderstorms the game won't be played or will be delayed.

Any chance you change or cancel this play closer to gametime based on conditions ?

Netherlands 4/3-0 is what I'm thinking. Only worry is they're predicting a heavy thunderstorm at gametime then steady rain throughout. I live here. Thanks for your hard work buddy and cash in tonight

YES. Just honestly trying not to get to every game time and think I have an angle on every play, post them, then lose everyone who tailed, including myself, money. I thought I could be disciplined but apparently I think I'm a genius and I'm not lol.
It also depends on some lineups and how hard the rain is coming down. You might be a good person to help assess as accuweather told me I was in the clear for the France FH and obviously such was not the case.

Can't believe Germany dropped this much. -135 now I'm gonna lay off but man is that tempting with the lineup on the field. Certainly if the first half if slow moving they could be exposed in the second half after they change their lineup. Ecuador needs the W so they will fight to the bloody end. That's the main reason I put in for BTTS.

Germany line has dropped from -175 to -140Ecuador ML could be a live dog here!
Clearly we have been fooled again. I'm ignoring intuition with the German lineup being strong they were such a good play in the FH. NO idea how anyone would think differently. Luckily they got one goal so we have the entire game for the Ecuadorians to find the net and get the BTTS.

I'll take the early win but now I don't have any interest in this game any more.
Ivory Coast did what I was hoping they wouldn't and got a quick goal. Crazy how these FH totals have gone for me. I'll probably have to stop doing them tis' a crapshoot it seems with how these teams come out vs the lineups being fielded. Usually scoring early is very hard in these games but it seems the early scoring is up quite a bit this year.
