Yea I think like anything the value will simply readjust. Pitching remains the key but the current rules and major changes are vying for additional offensive edges. But if pitchers are on then they are on and there is no stopping an under. So many times in baseball history some of the best offenses been totally stymied by elite pitching in series or in the playoffs. Nature of the game. But like eliminating hand checking in basketball or sacking a QB they want life made difficult for defenses. Where there is a will there is a way Seattle Seahawks reincarnated their defense again like in the 2010s with GM John Schneider. Good luck today sir with the next plays

They are NOT. This shows you how good the Netherlands are. Again should have trusted the gut and done BTTS but I'll take 3 units including the odds on Brobbey. They do sometimes struggle with South American teams so maybe something to make note of ahead of the knockout rounds. They will rape Tunisia next game same as Japan should (but probably won't) today.
I already have the plays for the next game so I will start a new post (not thread) so I'm not again limited by the length of the text. And yes, the Netherlands will win this game and will not lose a game in the World Cup until their fate is decided (I don't see them getting to the finals).

Whoops I took Germany over 2.5.

Denzel Dumfries (on the Dutch squad's mentality): "In the Dutch national team we have a very pleasant group... but every now and then we could shake each other up a little more. Always with the intention of improving."

What a game! Pure energy and dynamic football from both teams. Compare this to the Morocco vs. Scotland snooze-fest where both sides were too chicken to attack and just passed the ball around for 90 minutes. Unbearable to watch.

@TRAIN69 Thank you.
Next game is going to be tougher than some might think, at least in my opinion. I do think Germany prevails but they also have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven World Cup fixtures. The Ivory Coast have more quality than they are being given and their first game win against Ecuador puts them in a very good position to advance. They will NOT be a walkover here. I like the OVER in this game (seems the days where the WC games were low scoring are followed with games that are much higher) but its so incredibly juiced and I'm not sure they get over 3.5 goals.
The Ivory Coast beat Ecuador 1-0 to claim their fourth international victory in a row. Three of them against sides ranked inside FIFA’s top 25 thus they shouldn’t be intimidated. They have many players that play for top leagues and they have some speed that I think might be able to exploit the German back line. I'm not going to officially play anyone to score in this game but if I had to take a dart, Leroy Sane might be the guy being how his pace can really extend the Ivory Coast defense which he might be able to get behind. But alas, I am going to stick to my guns and try to find value in a game where there's not much of it:
GERMANY FH (-110)
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (GERMANY/IVORY COAST) -145...BIG PLAY!!!
I'll be back in a bit once the Netherlands game is official to update the record. But it only got better :). Hoping everyone is also making some coin any time I post a play in any sport I am also wagering myself on it so I'm not one of those guys that just spews out games for ego and not considering others might actually tail and lose money. Therefore I myself have been making a small fortune here

SMASHING morning. Gonna take a jump in my pool then maybe shower, have a smoke, and come back to watch the Germans get off to a fast start. I'd actually take any FH goal with the BTTS play looming and I almost went over 1.5 goals FH but I just feel the Germans will be stronger early and might wear down late. Then again what do I know?
NETHERLANDS (-140)...BIG PLAY!!! ![]()

Let's hope to add some more units.
UPDATED RECORD: 53-19 (BIG PLAY: 18-5)
You guys do realize that record is reflective of a 74% win rate and the BIG PLAYS are humming at a 78% clip.

A BIG PLAY counts as 2 units. So if you back out 2 units for each win or loss from the big play you get an accurate record.
You decide how much a big play is worth to you. For reference sake, I often play 5 to 10x on the games I really love (like FH Morocco yesterday) and at least 3 times for anything listed big play. The BTTS is usually tough b/c they are sometimes overjuiced but that's also because they often cash. So for those I will put 5x but the take home all be less, which I'm ok with, because I'm managing my units and a big play means I really think it will win.
I know that's vague but it's really up to you to decide what you think is big. I will lay $10K on a game personally but don't even play every game for $1K so really up to you. Sorry I know I sound repetitive.
