Keep doing your thing. Baseball can be very profitable, however no reason to look at any other sport. We leave soccer to you win lose or draw, you are the best we have. 
I used to work in a sports book on the baseball desk so up until this year I wasn’t even able to bet on the sport (or even post). But I’ll say a LOT has changed with the game and MLB was telling us that they are trying to get viewership up like the other sports so many of these changes are aimed at faster games and more scoring 
Thats funny. Well I’ve been here for years posting in any sports, including NFL, which I usually have as good of fortune with as I do in soccer. Are used to also crush the NBA scoring started to takeoff along with load management so it made things a little bit more challenging for me.
I lived in LA forever, but recently moved to Arizona to be closer to family. I would take you up on that steak when I’m in LA but I’m just happy to help you. You don’t need to purchase anything for me. Of course it’s always nice to meet new people, but I’m a really positive optimistic guy, which is why when people troll me or clown me I find it very odd.

I got out years ago but signed a waiver prohibiting me. Of course this was waaay before all the legalized sports gambling so I don’t even think they issue those anymore and mine spanned more years that it should have.
Been preaching that for years brother. There is always that guy that looks to break streaks. Instead of ignoring it knowing it is all part of gambling, get off track worrying about fighting our position instead of working the game.

Indeed MLB has been the most impactful in the past decade plus. For a sport with no official clock in a modern era where people's attention spans are winnowing, MLB had no choice. The nostalgia of three hour plus or extra inning marathons has gone by the wayside. It's too bad actually I think that's what made the sport unique. But you don't stay in business without majority interest. MLB had no choice. And like most leagues they try to offer more chances for offense in a sport initiated and dictated by the defense. I have problem with using instant replay to get major calls right or allowing a certain number of mound visits. Certain rules around the bases do make things safer.
Limiting shift defenses? It's all geared for offense. Hit them where they ain't then. To apply pitch clocks (should be at least 30 seconds), runners at second base in extras, and pitch challenges is tacky in my opinion. No more arguments or 20 inning affairs (playoffs excluded) makes it a different game. Using some technology and replay to get calls right (even that does not get bang bang plays right at times it's a matter of judgment) is fine but to remove human elements from it all makes it less enjoyable to me. And harder to handicap with all the additional variables.

Couldn't agree more, and spot on! I've said this before and people called me a troll b/c I was stating in the MLB forum within someone posting UNDERS and was just trying to help. And now look at all the scoring every night. Of course, there will be unders just like in any sport but the total of 7 now seems like it's an automatic play to the OVER just given the extra innings rule, bullpens, and not being able to be wrong on any ball/strike call.
Ok, getting back to soccer...
