doug fister is actually a legit number 2 pitcher who could be the number 1 on some teams..bottom line is they had to replace martinez who hit 330 and drove in 103 runs last season..fielder is more than capable of better numbers (exception of batting average) and roughly 40 homers...opposing pitchers will have nightmares on facing cabrera and fielder back to back

I understand that they had to replace Martinez but I really don't think that they should have went and got Prince for that kind of money.  Also their pitching ranked 18th in ERA, 11th in QS, 18th in WHIP, and 18th in BAA and if you take away JV starts they would all rank in the low 20s.  Fisher is a decent pitcher but I don't give him too much praise because he doesn't impress me.
