 Congrats on the retirement, P! Are you staying in the US or moving back to France or anywhere else? I notice a lot of retirees moving abroad. Cost of living in most of the US is way too high. Sadly.

I’ve watched videos of retired Americans moving to Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. basically, you can live well in those countries for around $1000-1500 a month. Crazy cheap. You wouldn’t even be able to pay rent with that in California, unless it’s a trailer park or something like that. Lol

El Salvador is the new hotspot 

in Europe Portugal and Croatia , but too many Americans living there , they drove up the real state prices
