 VAR has benefits (missed calls)....but now it seems they subjectively select when to call a review

 

NHL had problem after that Matt Duchene offside goal that stood cause of rule stipulations....so they added video review but then you had the "well is his skate blade touching the blue line or not" which was never an issue before because before the linesmen made the call and that was that....now we watch a video review to the millimeter...

 

Football still figuring out VAR...

 

Was there 1 play that made VAR come to the forefront like that Duchene call in NHL ???

It was funny how quickly it became talk after Duchene scored that goal...it was always talked about a little bit... but after that it became priority

so many missed face masks and terrible roughing the passer calls...those are obvious compared to if they make PI reviewable
