should be mostly ok from now on with a few exceptions
the 1st half of the season it was a bit different with everyone integrating into the lineup but now they look more like a well oiled machine
once sturridge gets back it should only get better as he's currently the only natural striker in the team; sterling does a decent enough job but he's more of a winger

one thing i definitely noticed is that the pressing game from last season is very much back in full flight. 1st half is back to being an autoplay due to the fact it's more likely than not they will be able to convert at least one of the many chances they create. this game will also mark the long awaited return of daniel sturridge, liverpool's only reliable goalscorer this season. he has been out since the tottenham game in the 3rd(!!!!) fixture of the season. if 1st half doesn't hit you can double up on the ml for the 2nd half.

my honest opinion is that everton dodged a bullet in their first meeting with the jagielka strike and with this being stevie's last derby, the team will be looking to set things right. everton will play hard as always but their lack of resistance in midfield and at the back will be exposed this game. over is a system play but it won't be a huge play due to the fact that it's a derby and also because of liverpool's newfound strength at the back.

i thought long and hard about this game but i think it's worse not to play it. liverpool's best offensive formation imo has been the two strikers up top formation with balotelli and sturridge. unfortunately, due to sturridge's injury, that lineup has only been realized once this season, a 3-0 road win at tottenham where it could have easily been five or six. everyone also remembers what happened here last season and although liverpool dropped the 1st game here this season, that was with a completely different formation. liverpool is still by far the better team and they will be looking to make things right from last season. i understand palace has played a lot better since pardew got hired but i'll gladly eat the units if they can get a result here. feel free to hedge on a 3:3 exact score again if liverpool go 3 up again if you want. lol.
