Looking at this matchup from all angles I see a 1-1 type of game. Plenty of feeling each other out. Pachuca has more experience in these international club tournaments having played in the FIFA intercontinental cup in 2024 in Qatar coming in as runners up behind Real Madrid.

I have to back my pre tournament favorites after a slow start versus Fluminense. Mamelodi deserved their win versus Ulsan but they will be over their heads in this match.
