The $2.10 seems too easy

May not happen, but this has got to be the most ridiculous $10.00 offering the books have put out in centuries.  This should be no more than $6.00.  Definitely have to take a shot on the Georgians for the win as they will be competitive and Scotland always is questionable with how they show up on any given day.

I feel guilty with my 33.5 and Georgia for tonight.

Scots weren't dogshit, they just have a worrying tendency to play to the level of their opposition.  It is very easy to lull the Scots to sleep as they always seem nervous that they are going to be run on at any moment so they fail to open their game up or take the initiative.  This allows for close(r than should be) games and makes the Scots look dull and uninspired.

The Georgian team train like a military outfit and play without any regard to the next match.  If they are healthy and if it is a big game and if I am getting a bucket chockfull of points against a side that plays cautious and is easily dismayed, it's a no-brainer whose camp I'm in. 

Georgia are going to bully Scotland around.

I took USA -9.5, just the 1 unit. They are a far better side than Russia imo, probably should have done 2 units butttt whatever :)

Well, the surest bet that I can ever remember turned out to be correct.  If every bet was as sure as Georgia +33.5 over Scotland, I'd be Bill Gates rich.  That was the MOST INACCURATE, IDIOTIC, ASININE line I have ever seen released on any major sport.

Who is setting the lines for the World Cup?  They have to be complete morons to set Georgia up with a 33.5-point start against a side which CANNOT SCORE 33.5, let alone cover what their opponent also scores, in a test match.  My 10-year old nephew could have released a better line than that.

Too bad Georgia didn't get the SU win for all those who sniffed the ML.

How strong you feel about the Americans today?...they played alright against Ireland, kept it tight...they're better than the Russian side for sure but the gap is closer. Don't think it's 7.5 though

Well, what a TOTAL .  The US were HEAPS better than the Russians.  Ran over and through them for all 80 minutes.  Massive advantages in territory, possession, line breaks, and the Russians were missing tackles left and right.  Over 20 of them before I stopped counting.

And yet....they covered the 7.5.



The U.S. spent 20% of the entire match within the Russian 22.  And only 13 points.  Missed penalties, stopped literally a foot out of the tryline, knock-ons five metres out.  Unbelievable.

Anyone who watched the match saw the same thing.  And the final 10 minutes was a JOKE!  Russia was on the backfoot the entire time....but everytime the Americans got the ball.  Penalty to the Russians.  They feck it up.  U.S. knock-on.  Russia loses the scrum.  U.S. penalty.  Russia kicks it STRAIGHT OUT OF THE TRYZONE!    U.S. ball, penalty.  Russia misses a penalty.  Russian line-out....STOLEN TWICE by the American in the final 10 minutes....knock-on, penalty....and then, in the 78th Minute............Russia FINALLY converts on one of the 58,432 American mistakes in the final ten minutes to make it 13-6.

Game Over.



All the U.S. had to do was get the ball over the midfield line ONCE from the 70th Minute onward and it would have stayed 13-3.

To their credit, it was a downpour in the second half and the Americans were clearly showing signs of battle fatigue from their Ireland match-up just a few days prior.  The U.S. domination in this match was unquestionable, but poor weather conditions, fatigue, and the sloppy play and errors that resulted costed us the cover.

Can't believe you have Georgia +50.5 against England...some of your lines you got are just sick. Would you still play it at 36.5 (current)?

As soon as Georgia qualified for the tournament, I told myself I would wait for the pool drawing and then measure Georgia against their pool mates.  I have a huge soft spot for the Lelos and think they are themost underrated side in the world.  Their 2007 WC match vs. Ireland was the most amazing rugby match I have ever seen.  Anyway, I was hoping for a few matches against well-established sides but sides that are notorious for underperforming.  Public perception would be well in favor of the favorite but the favorite would shit the bed as is in line with their history.

When I saw Scotland get drawn into Georgia's pool, I about brought the house down with applause.  Exactly what I was looking for.

I couldn't help myself and also grabbed the England and Romanian lines as well immediately as they were released.  Remember, the lines didn't start dropping until the week of the start of the World Cup and then didn't really start dropping until the opening matches were nowhere near covering the start.

That being said, I am totally effing myself wagering on the Americans.  I can't seem to measure them well enough, even though the came out during the Russian match.
