Well, I couldn't pull the trigger. I just knew in my heart of hearts that France +17 would show up, as I said in my lean, but just couldn't do it.
Thought the true line should have been 10-14 points, but as the books know two things 1) Everyone will bet the ABs in the Final know matter what the spread and 2) The books on on the hook for a NZ to Win WC Futures bloodbath, they had to make some of that money up in the final match.
So, tack anywhere from a penalty to a converted try onto the French handicap.....
Yet, still couldn't pull the trigger as if you've ever seen what happens when the French drop their heads in an international match, it gets ugly quick.
ARGH.
