going into today i was going to place all underdogs. Underdog thanksgiving....I was excited. but, I'm thinking the one team to go with as a favorite is Tenn.
Looking at the past of Detroit on t-day, the loses that they have are over 11 pts. in 7 out of 10 games. and they were better in previous seasons. I'm just scared this is a breakout game for Detroit, allottt of big factors for a loosing detroit team to win. Both are Pro teams with the capabilities to beat eachother especially on T-Day

Detroit is 0-5 ATS in home games
So this is the Lions first home game this year where they are at least a 10 pt dog, on Thanksgiving, where they have either won or have stayed within 10 pts 16 out of the past 19 years. The downside to that is the 3 games the Lions didn't stay within 10 pts occurred in 3 of the past 4 years.

Well Happy Thanksgiving to all. I know detroit is horrible but they are lights out on T day. Lets face it the Titans are not a high powered team. Detoit +11 in a ugly one.

Some things to ponder.....Det. 1st 4 gams.s lose by avg. 20.25 pts. Det next 4 games(with Orlovsky at QB) lose by avg. 5.25 pts. Det next 3 lose by an avg. 17 pts.
Bringing a QB in off the street on a good team and having success is difficult. Doing it on a bad team.....Culpepper #'s in 10 quartes so far 33/65 432yds 2 td 5 int. Are his numbers going to improve vs this team???
But offense is not the problem with this team. The problem is they cannot tackle. In the last 3 games they gave up 250 yds to Carolina backs, 150 to Jax backs and W.Dunn 90 yds. in 14 carries including a 40 yarder. Are they going to stop this running game???
And in case anybody was thinking that this team will show up because it is Turkey Day consider they have lost the last 4 Turkey games by an avg. of 20 pts. and last years 11 point loss to GB was a game they trailed by 27 pts. at one point. Tenn bounces back with a 20+ point victory.

If Tenn isn't fired up after losing at home in an embarassing fashion then I might be wrong in taking them. I don't see a away DET scores more than 13 here...
