I see that statement week in and week out all over these threads. If you're capping the game, get your facts straight. Your credibility goes right out the window with a statement like that.

Point taken but it's his first year starting....

So in my personal opinion the rookie qb on the road trend still applies....

He definitely has less experience starting than Russell Wilson and he's a rookie as well.

I enjoy reading the post here, never take thing personally.  I did saw you had a bad day on Saturday with Green Bay +3 and Denver -9, correct????

I had Seattle +3 and Baltimore +10. On Sunday same teams you had.

I watched on NFL network last night the rewind GB vs. SF.... it made me very confident in ATL this week.....

GB did not not show up.... they were playing man coverage the entire game vs. a mobile QB...

They also fumbled the ball in the SF redzone in the 2nd quarter....

I think the ATL defense will play much better vs. the 9ers due to the fact that they are at home, and have a solid, underratted defense.... Not a powerhouse defense, but just enough to keep 49ers running game down to a minimum and to put Capernick (the rookie qb on the road) into a 1 dimensional game...

Samuel will be shadowing Crabtree most likely.... that's his favorite target (checkout box scores going back the last few weeks) I think he'll be able to contain him as Crabtree is not really a deep threat.... more of a yards after catch kind of receiver...

Davis is going to be a mismatch.... no doubt about it.... did you see the yardage Miller put up last week?  he the main person on the SF offense that scares me....

I think Seattle was better than SF.... although I don't Harbaugh makes those horrible coaching mistakes.... Harbaugh would definitely have taken those points in the 1st half.... Seattle should've had 6 on the board going into halftime.

I think ATL offense can be effective over the top of SF defensive backs....

I'm confident in ATL as long as Matty Ice doesn't choke.... "big if"

Hope my analysis helps..... dispute it if you like.... but in addition to my Ravens/ATL superbowl futures I'm going to wager on ATL +(as many as I can buy)

Question?  Is Matt Ryan still prone to throwing int's, I wouldnt say I'm impressed with his second half preformance.

Kapernick & company however presents incredible preassure on defence's.  Clay Matthews was spinning around like a top unable to force any containment. Abraham is limping around?  Niners cruised last week can the Falcons duplicate intensity after an all out physical emotionally draining effort?

Okay So this Is my first post, All start with thank you to everyone on here for all your opinions, and covers for stats and breaking down every game.. Mahalo

Okay so now to my opinion.. start with what i saw before my FFB draft.. ATL had the Easiest Schedule.. And The 49ers Looked like a tough Road to the playoffs but i knew there division was not strong from last year.. well i was right about Atl easy Route to the number one seed.. and wrong about the NFC west but the 49ers still won the division and got a well needed week off so justin smith could return.. Of teams That Made the playoffs ATL beat Den, @Was, SEA.. 49ers beat @GB, Sea, @NE, GB.. Lost @MIN @SEA.. 
Just saying 49ers are a more tested team with a harder year..


Now on to matchups.. ATL O vs 49ers D.. You guys really think Atl Offense is Going to blow one of the best Rated Defenses in the NFL.. finished At the top even with such a Hard year Facing All the top Offenses,,  GB, NE, NO.. And ATL offense Rated 7th with the weak opp this year.. I dont see any wholes in there D except a small tear in justin smiths arm witch will be better and bring alive Aldon Smith and if the Smith brothers get going this game will be over.. 

And The Other Side.. 49ers O vs ATL D..  Atl Defense Rated 21st against the run and 9ers rated 4th.. now this is where the Kaep effect comes in.. the 9ers are better with him then Smith.. he opens up the field and there Offense would be rated better had he played the whole year.. okay i know some of you might say they stopped Sea and lynch and they can stop the run but i dont see it.. Kaepernick is Going to take over when he has the ball in his hands.. sea down 20 forgot the run and threw the ball to catch up which exposed wholes in the secondary.. Sea 385 passing and 123 rushing.. 



Okay by now you know who i am putting my money on.. Last thing i wanna leave you with is the 49ers Avg 28 points in there last nine games..  Atl  avg 25 points.. 49ers On defense gave up an average of 22pts and Atl gave an average of 20pts.. 

Final score SF 41 ATL 24

I think they don't either and really Wilson made the mistake of throwing too much and not running more- he had 5-10 yards to gain on every scramble if he just tucked it and head north. If Kaep does that he will have a good game or at least gas the def.

Capernicus is going to rush for high yardage again this week....

However, I do feel that ATL can score over the top of the SF defense... they know they can't just march down the field against SF defense and will not be able to run like they did last week... but Seattles corners are much better so they should look to the air early and often.....

I expect a high scoring game....

Early lean towards ATL getting the points.....

    It's a damn shame that this game isn't being played out a Candlestick, but it's not. Seeing a closely fought game. If Seattle couldn't get the job done (no excuses!), then I'm having serious reservations that the NIners will fare much better in the Georgia Dome. Niners might squeeze out a win, but in the "Spread League", I'll take:

Tight game here two teams very capable of winning. TOO much talent in Atlanta. I'm taking anything over 3.

MY GUESS IS ATLANTA 24-20
SF down by 4 with a couple mins. and the ball forced to go for a TD comes up short.

i am a falcons fan, and i am not sure if the falcons will beat the niners ,  but you say how can anyone be excited because they barely beat the seahawks  ,  just remember a couple weeks ago the 49ers  got blown out by the seahawks, the niners arent always at the top  of their game.

hard to pick against Niners and the momentum, the posts never cover momentum.this one thing is huge in all sports and life...

Niners Pats Superbowl, awesome rematch from that Monday/Sunday nighter...cant wait!!!

Good luck buddy, Atlanta can definitely win. …the stats say you’re basically taking the team with the lesser offense, the lesser defense--- witha rush defense that ranked #28 in yards allowed per carry (4.8)  and #24 in rushing TD’s allowed (16) and that was against a very easy schedule…and you’re asking them to stop Gore inside and Kaep on the outside, as well as V.Davis over the middle.

I see you hoping to catch lucky breaks, maybe with INT or fumble or maybe poor decisions from a relatively inexperienced QB in front of a loud crowd (even tho he just beat my 'cherry picked' game of New England on the road a few weeks ago!). It's doable alright, but i think the Poker Gods are against you...anyway GL

It had been decided (many weeks ago): 

Super Bowl Line: AFC -3

It looks like NE & SF

I can't see BAL -3 over SF or ATL

Or NE -3 over ATL, it has to be at least NE -8 over ATL.

Both SF and NE will win , but I'm not sure if they both will cover.

I'm leaning toward NE covering as BAL was able to beat the 9 pts. spread against DEN.

I think SF will also win, but not covering the 3.5pts. spread.

SF JUST HAS TOO MUCH FIRE POWER AND WEAPONS. SEAHAWKS WENT UP AND DOWN THE FIELD ON ATL, WHAT U THINK SF CAN DO.
