The old arena football QB will make quick decisions in this game and will move the ball with relative ease on the Steelers D. Warner was the #1 QB in terms of quarterback rating against the blitz this season at just over 103....I believe he was only sacked about once out of every 30 blitz attempts. On the other side Big Ben was the most sacked QB in the league on both 3rd downs and blitz's and his rating against the blitz was only 70. Look for the Cards to shut down the running game on first and second downs and force the Steelers into long 3rd down situations all game long.
I do not believe AT ALL that the Steelers offensive coordinator should be coaching in the NFL....he is pathetic, if you dont see this go review the tapes of the SD game and the Ravens game in succession. HORRIBLE play calling.
Warner gets a 4 million dollar bonus for winning this game...just about doubling his contract
Edge is interviewing for another team in this postseason and look for that to continue with his fresh legs
Boldin is heading out HEALTHY and looking to show everyone that his sideline blowup was nothing more than a heat of the moment....think about the guy that played with screws and plates in his face, thats who will show up in the superbowl. (my darkhorse for MVP at +1500)

Willie Parker will not be able to run on this team, he is not even in the same class as Michael Turner or Westbrook or DeAngelo Williams all of whom were shut down by the cards in the past 3 games.

after the first monday the betters had 70% on pitt and the over and after that the whole two weeks other than that monday all i have been hearing is cards and/or under. the line hasnt moved and the betting trend has been hammered down to 50% on the spread and 60% on the over. even though its at 50% more money went down on the cards and the points and the ML and close to even on the total. the only game that went under for zona this playoffs was the carolina game and it was 27-7 at the half. the points left off the board and a feild goal second half got the under by 2 pts. zona does not play low scoring games, either they play close with both teams scoring or they get blown out.despite zona playing better defense they are still giving up yardage, points and big plays. if any nfc playoff team but zona was playing pitt i would agree with the under.if you think it is within a field goal for the over why not take the over. and enjoy the game. and forget about last years game. coughlin had said at media day last year he was gonna limit the pats offensive drives, instead of the shootout like they had in week 17.good running game and less posessions gave away the under. this is not that kind of matchup. as good as zona offensive numbers are they are playing the pitt defense while the pitt offense goes against the zona defense. pitt will also be looking to score because of the ability and reputation of the cards offense and will have no reason to let up.

pitt will not be blitz happy where is this coming from did anyone actually watch media day this year. 3 man rush with harrison dropping back to take away the short pass that comes with a quick release. let the ability of the pass rush get to warner who is not only old he is not known for his running. marino couldnt win a superbowl with his pass happy team. do you really think pitt hasnt been hearing all week how good warner is against the blitz.why would they play to his strength. think it out people. they feel they can get pressure without the everyone blitzing scheme.

the only cardinal who should have a decent game is fitzgerald. the guy is just too talented to completely shut down, just one more reason for the over. good luck to all on your wagers. im parlaying pitt and the over.
warner will get sacked and fumble the talk of the week has been that this game comes down to turnovers and the first thing on everyone's mind is ints. i have already seen warner throw for over 400 yards in a game and throw 1 TD and a couple of ints and lose. sometimes his numbers are misleading. and the game im talking about was against seattle when he completed close to 70% of his passes.they backed thier way into the playoffs because no one played well in that division. they beat out seattle,sf, and the rams, its no wonder they made the playoffs

Yes, that's true that 'Zona (at home) ,beat the Steelers. Do you believe in Revenge? Do you think Arizona wasn't motivated to beat the Eagles in the Conference championship! PIT has the experience, Big Ben wont cough up the ball, and their D is the last thing any offense wants to face. AZ is not ready to go through PIT to win the SB.

Alot of the times I think that they call these upsets just to try to make themselves look smarter than they really are and I hate it. Its giving Pitt that little extra motivation.

This is it people! It's Super Bowl Sunday -- THE BIG ONE!!

My NFL capping really fell off the past few months as I moved towards better more college and pro hoops.
Arizona Cards are my jinx team. I am a superstitious person and I'm pretty sure that over the past few years every time I've bet on Arizona they've failed to cover and ever time I bet against them they cover. I will never forget my worst NFL loss ever when I took Zona ML huge against the Bears a few years back on 'zonas first Monday Night game in their new stadium and they went into the half up I believe 28-0. Needless to say they ended up winning the game and I ended up throwing my TV out the window that night (it was a cheap one).
I'm not a die hard Steelers fan. I'm a 49ers fan, but I like the Steelers too. I have to. I moved to Pittsburgh for school a few years ago and they just grow on you. Plus the Pittsburgh natives get all over your ass if you don't like the Steelers so it was just easier to hop on the bandwagon since my 49ers suck now lol.
So today I'm going to be hitting the Steelers at -6 (buying the hook) and hope that some streaks end. I hope that my Cardnial jinx is lifted and I'm actually able to win a bet in a game they are playing in. I'm also hoping that this is the year that Loser Lang loses a Super Bowl pick. I have been following him since two for the money and he's hit every pick. That bastard. NOT TODAY I SAY! Times are tough for everyone in this economy. But what about for Lang? Picking games is his job and he sucks at it except for this game. He needs this game so bad because if he starts losing Super Bowls he will have no more customers. He's going to start today and lose the next couple until he fades away. I can't wait.
