Az does have an awesome offense and their defense has been playing great but i see pittsburgh by 10.

Most people are on AZ somehow they missed the boat betting on the Giants last year, so they think not this year. AZ is from the weakest div. They have already lost a game by 40 points. Las Vegas lost a mint on last years SB, it won't happen again, so they make AZ look good +7.0. Steelers win this by 10+. Don't think that AZ's defense is better than the Ravens, Steelers have played better teams and it will show Sunday. AZ will make it a game for a quarter and a half before being smoked.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

this is why vegas makes so much money. pitt gives up only 44 yards rushing a game and zona uses james, hightower and arrington.Big Ben will be MVP he last superbowl he was the young guy on the team. kurt warner will fumble. warner wears the glove because the grip makes up for hand strength which he no longer has, if the steelers do what so many other teams have done to zona they will drop back harrison in coverage and let the pass rush swat at warner.
this game will be pitt beating the crap out of zona, zona is not prepared for this kind of physical play.zona gives up too many big plays. pitt defensive backs wont trip over their own feet like the eagles did.

My early lean is to stay away from the Superbowl. Unless you're chasing, this might not be a good play except maybe the OVER. Arizona getting an early +7?! Don't be suprised if Arizona plays predominately with only one back. Warner is a vet that is great against the blitz and this o-line is good. Their receivers are a mismatch against any team. If Ashanti Samuels couldnt slow down Fitzgerald, what makes people think that Ike Taylor will. Pitt won't let him beat them like other teams, but believe when they are going one on one Taylor will be exploited.

THIS WILL BE A CLOSE GAME. IF PHILIP RIVERS CAN THROW TDS VS PITT, KURT WARNER CAN DO THE SAME.
WILLIE PARKER IS A BUST THIS YEAR AND YOU GUYS KNOW IT. THE ARIZONA DEFENSE PLAYED AWFUL IN THE REGULAR SEASON BUT LIKE THE NY GIANTS OF LAST YEAR, THE ARIZONA DEFENSE IS ABOVE AVERAGE IN THE PLAYOFFS.

When Pittsburgh has the ball......I don't think we will see alot of fancy stuff. A balanced attack with a 50-50 split between the run and pass. Penderast will call a game with lots of diferent formations and lots of exotic blits to try and confuse Rothlisberger. Pitts offense will lean heavily on its backs and TEs. The receiver that will cause Arizona the most problems is Heath Miller. Arizona struggles to cover tight ends and backs in passing routes. Ben will take his shots but they will all have to be well timed.

Intangibles....
1. Coaching - HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, advantage for Arizona. Whisenhunt and Grime both coached for the Steelers. Please don't make the comparison to the Oak TB SB. Oak didnt change their playbook or audibles and as a result TB def was calling out their plays at the line of scrimmage. Pitts playbook is now different, however Arizona coaches have the edge because they had to spend less time preparing for the them and know many of their opponents tendencies. History speaks for itself.
2. Pyschology - One team expected to be here and win the other wasn't even supposed to make the playoffs. One qb was horrendous in his lone SB appearance and wants to redeem himself. The othere is 1-1 in SB's and has the 1 and 2 highest passing games in SB history. Again I give the edge to the Cards.
I really liked the "us against the world" that Arizona has going for them, but ive started to cool on this. Most thought that they would loose every round of the playoffs including this game. Feeding into it Pitt fans are going to be there in bunches. What has me nervous is way are all of these so called "experts," the sportswriters and commentators, jumping on the Cardinals bandwagon? Alot of the times I think that they call these upsets just to try to make themselves look smarter than they really are and I hate it. Its giving Pitt that little extra motivation.

By the way, I have not posted any rationale for this pick but am going with Pitt -6 (bought a point) and leaning toward the under. Better defense, rested and when is the last time someone talked about the best offense winning a Super Bowl. Arizona has surprised me I must admit, but I also had them against Atlanta. I was on the wrong side against Carolina. That might have been my worse pick of the year as that game was over just after it started.
I had Pitt against Baltimore and San Diego and believe they will close the deal here. They have played a much tougher schedule AND still have a significantly better record.
Before the playoffs begas, Arizona only one ONE game against a playoff team....Miami very early in the year.

ever wonder why lang is back in the sports betting game, i think after that movie about him he is the perfect guy to sway betters. and these guys all claim great stats. anytime you see 16-0-2 even for a trend it loses. remember this is the same guy who picked his way out of the business. if it wasnt for "two for the money" this guy would be gone. if you have to listen to others to bet, then flip a coin. when lang was at his best he watched the games and figured out the game plans, if you do that you wont win them all but at least you'll be able to live with your pick. no worse feeling than not trusting yourself and end up saying why did i listen to that.

all week long people went from saying the cards can cover to the cards will win. lebeau will have his defense ready and warner will fumble, he wears the gloves to help with grip but he lost his grip when his hand strength was no longer there. in several games this year a 3 man rush made warner fumble by swatting at his hand. the glove helps him throw but not hold onto the ball. when big ben had a hurt hand the lack of strength hurt his game. look for harrison to drop back and take away the short pass and for guys like woodley to cause fumbles.
