Polamalu,Hampton and Ward did not play against Arizona in last year's 21-14 loss AT Arizona. Also with all the talk about Whisenhunt facing his old team in the Super Bowl,and how it will affect the game is overdone based on the fact of last year's win AT HOME. That angle has already been played out.Oddly,all 4 Arizona games this year vs. AFC teams went OVER,and no totals were posted at the present 46.5.The Steelers 4 games vs. NFC teams all went UNDER. What does this all mean?
We all know the best team does not always win,but they will today. Pitt has the revenge this time,at a neutral site. Fitzgerald burned Pitt for 123yds receiving last year,Breaston returned a punt 73yds for a TD,after the first punt was called back due to a penalty,1 of 11 by the Steelers.And Big Ben turned the ball over twice,once in the endzone. And they still nearly pulled off a win.

Gotta respect that Steeler D... no doubt, but tonight's game will be decided by Cardinals' gunslinger QB Warner and his three dynamic 1,000-yard receivers Fitzgerald, Boldin, and Breaston. Throw in rejuvenated RB James and tough rookie Hightower to keep Pittsburgh honest and you can bet the Cards will get their share of points.
(Also, HC Whisenhunt's familiarity with Steeler formations an undeniable handicapping asset for this contest.)
Much has been said about Arizona's difficulty TY playing in the Eastern time zone... but wasn't that put to rest with the 33-13 play-off manhandling of Carolina? Add the other two impressive play-off wins over Atlanta and Philly for proof that this Cardinal squad is no fluke and they, indeed, enter the Super Bowl with plenty of positive momentum.

Cardinals win, 34-31. Pittsburg had maybe 4 tough games. Look at the games against Balt, Indy, Giants and Titans and they lost 3 of those in the regular season. Never travelled west of the Nashville, the lousy field conditions played a great part in some of their victories so their defense is number 1 in the NFL, which stands for parity or mediocrity. Cardinals schedule was similar to the Steelers, but they travelled more and have fewer injuries, faster receivers who are peaking at the right time. Steelers may be believing their headlines. Also, if one bets the ML on the Steelers you get less than half a return @ -220. $100.00 returns 145.00. Only would make sense if one bets a large amount and is absolutely sure Steelers win. But there are no absolutes on any given Sunday. Looking for a Cardinal victory in a close game, also the prop that defense or special teams will score a touchdown. I don't care which team scores it because I got it at +155, so let's see which D or ST's step ups. Good luck to Cardinal fans on winning the game and the best of luck to all who bet on props.

If that Cardinal offense keeps running the way it has this entire playoff run they definitely have a chance to win this game.
Have those predicting a big Steeler blow-out not been watching them?
Larry Fitzgerald is playing like a monster that no one has been able to slow down, even though they know he's coming. And if Pittsburgh doubles him on every play, there's a beast of receiver on the other side of the line (who suddenly has something to prove by the way) named Anquan Bolden.
It was brought up last week before the Philly game and I conveniently at that time chose to dismiss it, that Kurt Warner's completion % against the blitz is one of the best ever.
And some have suggested the Cards can't run the ball. Then what the hell where they doing against, particularly on that last drive when they needed it, handing the ball off to Edgerrin James who was barreling down the field consistently?!?!
They have found their running game. It's real.
Also, the play calling and coaching has been spectacular during the playoffs. Those guys have been absolutely ready to play during the playoffs.
Someone suggested this Super Bowl is like the Raider / Buc Super Bowl but failed to mention the actual reason why that game was so lopsided . . . it's because Gruden coached the friggin' Raiders the year before and his defense knew exactly what to look for out of every formation. One of their d-backs said later they shouldn't have gained any yards - at all.
Guys - Whisenhunt used to work in Pittsburgh. I know it's been two seasons . . . but it's only been two seasons . . . . hell even Jaws brought it up yesterday on ESPN.
And why isn't anyone talking about the Cardinal defense?!
Playing great football right now.
If those guys come out prepared they way have during the playoffs, and playing with the aggression and desperation they have, they absolutely have a shot in this game.

I think a bet on AZ should be taken just because of the fact that THE BETTER OFFENSE WITH MORE PLAYMAKERS AND MORE RTO PROVE ARE THE FREAKIN UNDERDOG!!!
That and a very underated defense, with a superb defensive backfield and better d-line matchup (Adrian Wilson MVP sleeper is AZ pulls it out)
