Pittsburgh is thought of as a terrific defensive team, but take a look at their schedule. Cleveland twice, Cincinnati twice, Baltimore twice, Jacksonville, Washington and Tennessee. While we know this Steeler defense is very good they have been playing either in terrible weather or against weak offensive opposition. So how has Pittsburgh done against playoff competition? Besides Baltimore who they beat three times, they lost to Philadelphia by 9 at home, lost to the Giants by 7 at home, lost to the Colts by 4 at home, beat San Diego by a single point at home before winning the playoff rematch, and lost at Tennessee by 17 on the road.

Although, i typically don't trust guys with those beards used to cover up a double chin, but i do like that analysis.

Steelers -6.5 +100 (3 units to win 3) vs. Cardinals - well I'm sure you already know everything about these teams and the players involved. Not much on the injury front except for Hines Ward but he should tough it out and play today. Pittsburgh is the more experienced team only because they won this game a few years ago. Here we have the NFL's best defense against probably the best offense. Sports Insights is reporting that 53% of the public is backing Arizona. Most of the current lines are back down to 6.5 points (where it opened at usually), and there really hasn't been much movement at all. I'll include a few prop bets too...
...Anquan Boldin - longest reception - Over 18.5 yards (-120) (1.2 units to win 1)
...# of Players to throw a pass - Over 2.5 (+150) (1 unit to win 1.5)
...Will there be a lead change in the 2H - yes (+185) (2 units to win 3.7)
...Will there be a 2pt conversion attempt - yes (+300) (1 unit to win 3)

Arizona and the points. Yes Pitt has a good D but they have not played anyone in the Playoffs that had an offense like Arizona, and also there is no one on Pitts offense that scares me.

Aloha everyone,

Well today is the day.....last game of the season and I'll miss all of you once this game is done. Nice to have talked to all my old covers friends again and was also nice to make some new friends as well. Let's keep the peace on the football threads next season

My personal thanks to all of you for all the great info this season

it helped me a lot this season.

Nothing solid for me just maybe thinking that Arizona can pull out a SU win. It seems as though that Arizona could be overlooked defensively with some key Steelers players not being at a 100% that could be key for the Cards today. If the Cardinals can keep the pressure on Pittsburgh it might force Coach Tomlin to make some bad decisions as he does at times being so young of a coach. Warner has the ability to burn this tough Steeler defense and has the weapons on offense to help.

This was a very tough one for me to call as my heart loves the underdogs in Super Bowl games esp when my Dolphins have not smelled the Super Bowl in ages.

Well as usual we host all the Super Bowl parties and we need to get going on the grill soon.....

like I said nothing solid and I got a whole crapload of prop & other wagers to place as well......

person boy in the speedo it is spelled goggles. googles is a search engine I believe. Scary game, fewest mistakes is the winner and Warners playoff numbers are stellar. Teasing cards and the under +13 1/2 under 53 1/2 2 units GL

I'm looking at the under in this one. Pittsburgh's defense is tougher than any of the 3 that Arizona has faced inthe playoffs, and, more importantly, Pittsburgh is not going to hand the ball over to the Cardinals like their last 3 opponents have. The Cardinals are here because of a +9 turnover advantage in the postseason, and I don't see that continuing today. And I expect LeBeau will have a good game plane to contain Warner and company with 2 weeks to put it together. Meanwhile, with Ward and Roethlisberger gimpy or banged up, I expect the Steelers' game plan on offense will be to win primarily with the run if at all possible, against a Cardinal defense that allowed over 100 ypg rushing. Containing the Arizona offense + Steelers primarily running the ball adds up to

Steelers/Cardinals under 46.5 (SIA)

Sorry about that but just like I did in the Pitt/San Diego playoff game if you and everyone on here remembers paid off, even though a few people were very skeptical only to see a Pitt cover as called. . . After reevaluating everything in this matchup plus studying the public and lines after 2 weeks this is the pick!

Hence, the Inside Info almost always cashes as you have witnessed in the past. As I have said before many times, the choice is yours.
